We stayed one night at Milton House. It is a lovely simple B&B, with comfortable and clean rooms. The service was good, the breakfast simple but tasty and the location is great. The B&B is located a 20min walk from bath city centre and is good value for money.

We stayed at the Milton house for one night. We were warmly welcomed by Blessing and her son Nathan who showed us our room and provided us with detailed and useful information on how to get to the town and where to eat.
The B&B is located about a ten minute walk (downhill) to the centre of Bath. We decided to go for dinner to a local pub in the centre and instead of a steep walk back we took a taxi for GBP 6.
This B&B is reasonably priced, very clean, and nicely decorated with attention to details. Little things like a nice vase with fresh flowers at the entrance just add to the lovely atmosphere of this B&B.
Near the entrance there are leaflets for visitors, including city maps. In every room there is a comprehensive information guide which includes additional information.
We stayed in the Jane Austin room, which was large with a spotlessly clean en suite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Complimentary selection of tea/coffee/biscuits was appreciated.
The breakfast was excellent - fruit salads, yogurts, jams/marmalades, fresh fruit, toasts, juices, cereal and a choice of cooked breakfast served by Gibson and David..
Free parking is available in front of the house or behind the B&B.
Blessing, Gibson and David were amazing and very friendly. They are wonderful hosts.
This was one of the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Overall a fabulous stay and we highly recommend this B&B to visitors of Bath.
Blessing – thank you for your kindness – we feel sorry that we could not stay longer at your place.
We travelled with another couple who stayed also in the Milton house for one night and they share our views about this B&B and the hosts.

Having not stayed in a B and B for years, I was unsure of the quality I could expect from my stay. I don't know why I was worried as this place was fantastic! Gibson was a great and very friendly host, the rooms were great and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was amazing and excellent quality. we were recommended a walk along the canal on our first morning and we are so glad we followed their advice as we spent hours walking along and stopping to read the paper and soak up the sun, such a lovely experience. I felt very at home throughout my 2 night stay and comfortable in asking any questions I had about places to eat, go etc. It's in a great location within walking distance of the town centre, bus stop almost opposite and taxis around £6. Honestly one of the nicest places I've ever stayed and wouln't hesitate to go back again if I get the chance to visit Bath again. The little touches in this place made all the difference and I would recommend it to anybody visitng bath for the weekend.

We stayed at this guest house about 4 years back. This place is so well thought of that my brother say's that everytime he passes by the no vacancy sign is always prevelent. Don't be put off though give it a go and try to book a room or two. I would book this place in a blink of an eye, it is reasonably priced, clean, the breakfast was excellent, and nice people, hopefully still there. It is within walking distance from Bath central, although we did go down to Walcot St. The Bell. my feet were killing me and didn't want the trek back, and what should come along but a bus that dropped us within a few yards of b&b, what luck. Bath has a great bus system, it's my home town and I love it. This B&B is excellent

Room Tip: All the rooms seemed excellent, some obviously smaller, our daughter and her friend liked their room...

Bath is known for being very expensive and when we looked at where to stay, we found it unbelievable that even the budget hotels were over £100 a night. Based on the tripadvisor reviews, we booked here and we are very glad we did. This is by far the best B&B we have ever stayed in. This is more like a hotel and we loved the fact that we didn't have to walk through the owner's private space to get to our room - which was perfect as we came back after 11pm one night. A 10 minute walk to town, downhill on the way back but quite steep on the way up so one night we grabbed a taxi which cost £6 from the centre of town. The owners were amazing and very friendly and the breakfast was just great. Fruit salads and cereal followed by your choice for cooked breakfast (which you leave a note for them the night before). It was cooked perfectly, better than most cafes! The room was large with a shower room with sweet touches like tea/coffee and biscuits. We plan to stay here again. Thank you.

Blessing and Gibson are wonderful hosts. The room, inn and breakfasts were top notch and all served with pleasant warmth. A wee walk or bus ride from center city, in a very pleasant neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Stayed for one night with my daughter in the small double. It was immaculate and not that small really. The room was lovely with a spotlessly clean en suite, they also supplied shampoo and body wash in the shower and fluffy towels. The room had selection of tea/coffee/biscuits which was nice. The B&B is about a ten min walk from cenre of Bath (all downhill, but a steep walk back!). There is an excellent Indian just down the road which is super value and the food was brilliant, it is called Mouchuck. The hosts of the B&B are lovely and very friendly. The breakfast was lovely; a fresh fruit salad, yogurts, toast, tea/coffee and then you choose what to have for your full english, it is cooked fresh and was delicious. I would certainly stay here again. There is plenty of free parking on the roads behind the B&B.
