Arrived in Bath in the dark, raining and on the night of a big rugby match. We were very frazzelled by the time we arrived but the welcome from our host was very warm. Steve couldn't do enough for us. The place was in easy walking to everything we wanted to see in Bath. The rooms comfortable and breakfast catered well for our Aussie taste.

We had a great stay - my friend and I travelled down for the Christmas market, and shared a twin room, that would actually sleep 3.
Every comfort had been thought of and my only slight gripe was the shower wasn't very powerful.
We had a lovely breakfast and the the house was very convenient for the town centre and market.
Even better was the parkling permit as most B&Bs would have meant £15 per day parking on top.

Room Tip: Our twin room would be ideal for a family with one older child.

We booked a few days in Bath as a birthday treat. Steve has been in the business 18 years and really knows what is important to guests. He is welcoming and very flexible in his approach. The house is in a nice quiet road just 5 minutes walk from Bath Abbey. Although residents parking we were given a permit for 3 full days including all day after we checked out. We got the small double as we booked quite late and although quite compact we were impressed with the way the room had been decorated and furnished to make the best use of the space and light available. The en-suite was newly and very tastefully fitted out. Breakfasts were excellent including fresh fruit salad some very nice homemade jam. Steve also put a complementary bottle of wine and chocolates in our room for my birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed Bath and can recommend the White House Guest house - we will definitely visit again.

Friendly welcome (with free parking permit to hand). Small B&B which is comfortable and great value for money. In very easy walking distance of the centre of Bath (Abbey, Pump Rooms, shops etc). Small double room but with very nice en-suite and comfortable bed. Tea/coffee provisions of good quality with plenty available in room. Lovely breakfast with fabulous fresh fruit salad and full english made with good ingredients.

My wife and I spent two wonderful nights here. Steve is an excellent host. His advice on the goings on in Bath was right on. And, he is a very good cook! His breakfasts were tasty and we enjoyed our discussions with him. As others have commented, this is a good location and you can walk to the center of Bath in 8-10 minues.

We stayed two nights in the upstairs front room as my son was graduating from Bath Uni. Steve is a wonderful host, like others have said, he leaves you to it but is there if you need help. The breakfast was hearty and the fresh fruit wonderful. The bedroom was ensuite and more than adequate for our stay. We had the windows open because of the warmth and did hear the road noise but this is because we live in a very quiet area and therefore notice it more. I would definately stay again, its location making it ideal for exploring Bath and near enough to walk back to after a few drinks!! Bath is expensive so this was very good value for money and doesnt pull on the purse strings greatly.

Location, location, location! Booked late and got the small double. Try for 2nd floor front room as has space to sit so not just on the bed. Interesting area. Steve helpful and not intrusive. Good breakfast and great coffee! We would stay here again in front rom.
