We stayed two nights in the upstairs front room as my son was graduating from Bath Uni. Steve is a wonderful host, like others have said, he leaves you to it but is there if you need help. The breakfast was hearty and the fresh fruit wonderful. The bedroom was ensuite and more than adequate for our stay. We had the windows open because of the warmth and did hear the road noise but this is because we live in a very quiet area and therefore notice it more. I would definately stay again, its location making it ideal for exploring Bath and near enough to walk back to after a few drinks!! Bath is expensive so this was very good value for money and doesnt pull on the purse strings greatly.

Location, location, location! Booked late and got the small double. Try for 2nd floor front room as has space to sit so not just on the bed. Interesting area. Steve helpful and not intrusive. Good breakfast and great coffee! We would stay here again in front rom.

Bath is expensive in high season for Americans but we fortunately found this b&b that suited us perfectly. It's got a great location, few minutes walk to the heart of Bath, offering a lovely full English breakfast, very warm and accommodating host in Steve, all at a relatively reasonable price. Hard to beat. We had the front room on ground floor which we recommend - absolutely quiet, though small, nicely arranged and stil sufficient for us two. Moreover, when I came down with an eye infection, Steve was great to offer his assistance and recommend places suitable to visit.

Room Tip: Ask for the front room on ground floor, though we didn't see upstairs rooms.

A great little place to stay. Was worried that it seemed so much cheaper than most other places in Bath, and the website didn’t give a lot of info, but it’s really a bit of hidden gem, particularly if you haven’t got an unlimited budget. It’s not bang in the centre of Bath, but given the size of Bath that means its 500m away from everything instead of 100m. Plus the canal at the other end of the street is one of the more secret delights of Bath, and one you’re liable to miss if you stay right in the centre. Room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely old fireplace, breakfast was spot on (and veggie friendly), and we were made to feel very welcome.

Room Tip: We had a double room ensuite at the front on the first floor, which definitely is recommended.

We stayed here for 1 night and found it to be pleasant, clean and comfortable.

It's located about 10 minutes walk from the main area of Bath via the Pulteney bridge, the room was a little outdated decor wise and a bit on the small side but it was very clean, comfortable and had everything that you would expect or need for your stay.

The owner was friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was very nice and should we find ourselves in Bath again and looking for somewhere to stay we would go back again.

The room was cosy and warm and the price was just right. Definitely recommended if you don't want to blow the budget but still want something really nice.

Just got back from spending a weekend in Bath. This guest house is ideally located, 10 minutes walk to the city, the station, and the beautiful Field of Light! Steve the owner was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Lovely cooked breakfast with a choice of fresh fruit salad, cereals and toast with homemade jam or marmalade! Nothing too much trouble! Stayed in a triple room with an en-suite, everything spotlessly clean and even fresh flowers. A generous assortment of hot drinks in the room and even cakes and bicuits! The room was lovely and warm and had everything that you needed. I went with my Mother and 15 year old daughter and we shopped till we dropped and visited the Roman Baths and the Fashion Museum, stopping for tea in the elegant Pump Room Restaurant. Bath is a beautiful City steeped in history, even better at this time of year with the festive lights and the Christmas market in the grounds of the Abbey. Wonderful weekend and a lovely place to stay. Highly recommended and a great value for money!
