We stayed for 2 nights in room 3 , a comfortable double bed, with an on-suite bathroom with shower. The hot water from the sink takes an age to trickle through, but apart from this minor point, the room , facing the road ,was very good value for money, particularly as the hearty breakfast was very good too. We travelled by train from London and the walk to the B&B only takes 15mins. (or a taxi for £4.50 in 4 mins) This B&B is ideally situated for city centre and most of the tourist sites.
Just across around the corner is a pub with a wide range of home cooking. Or there are dozens of places to eat in City centre, which is just a short 8 minute walk across the bridge with the picturesque river Avon underneath . Travelling by train meant we did not have to pay for petrol, the high Bath parking charges, and you get 2-for-1 vouchers for many of the tourist attractions. The theatre Royal is also worth a visit if there’s something on during yr visit
