Modern, clean, comfortable and relaxed B&B in a quiet street just a short walk to the Abbey and Spa. The hosts are lovely and serve up some great breakfast options including my favourite Eggs Benedict. Off street parking is a bonus.

The Hospitality, food, and attention to detail is what makes this B&B so great. Rooms are comfy, decor lovely throughout the B&B. Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay here immensely. We were made to feel very welcome, and the omlettes are to die for! :-)

We stayed for 4 nights at Chestnuts in October 2013 and found the place absolutely perfect!

Toni is one of the kindest and most considerate of hosts who ensured our stay was really pleasant. The 'made to order' breakfast (including an all too rare Bialetti coffee) was tremendous.
An added advantage with Chestnuts is that there is car space available for guests as parking around Bath is often a problem.

All in all a great place and we now know we have a place to stay whenever we visit Bath. Thanks Toni!

We happened to meet Tony the owner of Chestnuts House last year at the Café au Lait on Pultney Bridge. He told us he ran a B&B and we remembered the name. A two day break in Bath provided the ideal opportunity to try new accommodation in this beautiful city. Chestnuts House has four well appointed and tastefully furnished bedrooms on two floors and a resident’s lounge with a wide screen TV. We arrived around midday hoping to leave our bags but our room was ready and the welcome from Kim could not have been warmer. The room was beautifully decorated with plenty of storage space, a comfortable bed, bathroom with bath and shower, TV, tea & coffee making facilities and some cake! Had the weather been nicer we could have used the French window to explore the well laid out garden as well. But the ‘pièce de résistance’ of Chestnuts House has to be the breakfast. The eggs were poached to perfection and the porridge decorated with banana, honey and nuts was a feast in itself. With plenty of fruit, yoghurt, croissants, toast and coffee available we were well set for another day of retail therapy. This is a great place and we’ll be back.

Tony runs a fantastic bed and breakfast , the rooms are all tastefully decorated with high standards of fittings. His eggs Benedict at breakfast is sublime. The property is well located close to the beautiful Henrietta Gardens the pulteney bridge is within close walking distance as are the rest of the splendid sights of this great city of Bath.

This very small B & B was only a short walk from the centre of Bath and was exactly what we needed for our 2 night stay in Bath. The owners attention to details has paid off & enabled us to have a very enjoyable stay. The breakfast cooked to order was excellent. My friend had the full English breakfast both days and it looked very good. I had an omelette with asparagus & tomato one day & Eggs Benedict the other, The fruit salad packed with berries was appreciated. There was a nice range of toiletries in the bathroom. There is on site parking & on our last day we were provided with a parking permit for the road as we were staying until the evening after checking out in the morning. This is the most expensive B & B I have stayed in but the price compared well to the others available in Bath.
