We arrived at Chestnut House after taking a redeye to London (from the States), jumping in a rental, grabbing a quick bite, stopping at Avebury (walked about the ancient sotnes-very cool), and we're delighted to find a nice clean well appointed room awaiting us.
The best surprise was waking up and having Toni fix breakfast for us. Started off with tea or coffee and toast then "omelet" for my wife and "traditional English" for both my son and me. Absolutely yummy. We were there for three days and Toni gave us plenty of good hints for things that we should check out in the city.
Great location for walking about and discovering the city. Roman Baths (touristy though worth it), walking tour about the history of the town (free), and local museums. We'd highly recommend the Chestnut house and throughly enjoyed our stay.
