Great place for a real good pice of no nonsense meat.
They have many different cuts, and there is a size and preparation of the meal that should fit anyone.
If you enter from Argyle Street, do not get take back by the steep stairs that take you down into the cozy basement. You can also enter from the Banks of the river, just under Pulteney Bridge.
It is worth while going outside the restaurant to get a few views of the bridge and sluices from a different perspective.
