“Would highly recommend”
Reviewed September 13, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

We stayed for four nights in September and would highly recommend 3 Powlett Road. The house was clean and well presented with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room and bedrooms and a pretty garden. Nice attention to detail with tea, coffee etc left for us on arrival. Also, it's only a short walk to the centre of Bath

“Great house in a great location”
Reviewed August 26, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

House worked out perfectly for us, so close to the centre of Bath and had everything we need. We stayed 4 nights and found the house so homely that we could've easily stayed on. Home from home feel and really clean too.

“Comfortable and convenient for Bath centre”
Reviewed July 7, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

You feel at home straight away in this property and the owner is very helpful and prompt with responses.
The house combines character in a quiet location with enough mod cons to make your stay very comfortable. It's a bonus to have quiet garden space to relax in, too.
Local amenities in Bathwick Street are handy, but Bath centre is only a 10-15 minute walk away and and the easy access to canal walks via Sydney Gardens was a bonus. If you could ever tire of walking down Great Pulteney Street into Bath, walk into town via Cleveland Bridge, London Road and Walcot Street for some interesting independent outlets.
I would definitely stay here again.

“As great as everyone says it is!”
Reviewed June 5, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The Good
- Terrific location: nice neighboorhoud, quiet, safe, relatively easy to reach by car & leave for daytripping, and a short and pleasant walk to the city center.
- Luxurious bed, especially the linnen and duvet, better than what I've encountered in most 4 or 5 star hotels.
- Fast & friendly communication with the owner, who pro-actively offered an early arrival & late departure, and fast return of the deposit.
- Spotless, very clean, fresh smell.
- Beautfiul garden.
- Fully stocked with everything you need, from entertainment to kitchen ware.
- Nice high chair and cot for our 10 month old son.

The Room for Improvement
- Nothing really, except perhaps the modest water pressure for the shower and hot water supply for a full bath. But I've encountered that in other cottages, old pipes perhaps? No big thing.

The Overall
- Bath & surroundings are well worth the trip, and there's only one place to stay: No. 3 Powlett Road. Highly recommended.

“Absolutely lovely house in great location”
Reviewed May 9, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

My husband and i stayed here for the weekend with family the end of April. The house with 2 large bedrooms is absolutely terrific. It is a great location, only about a 10 minute walk to the centre of bath which has loads of pubs, bars and restaurants.
The house is well equipped. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend renting this house which has plenty of space for 4 people and a lovely garden to sit in. The beds are so comfy we even had to enquire where they got the mattresses from.

“Fantastic house in great location”

We stayed here as two couples for a couple of nights. Beautiful house with everything you could need. Mark the owner even left us a couple of pints of milk, a range of teas, instant coffee and filter coffee. There was also dishwasher tablets, washing up items, kitchen roll, toilet rolls, washing tablets for washing machine etc. All you could need. Solid well built house on quiet street. Mark provides a parking permit to park on the road. You can park on the front of the house if you have a small car but ours was to big. Two good sized bedrooms, a great bathroom upstairs. A cloakroom, boos sized kitchen digger downstairs with loads of room and a table and chairs for four. Nice lounge with free view tv and a DVD player. There is a range of DVDs on the shelve along with games, books and magazines.
Only a short 5-10 min walk into town. Worked out cheaper for two couples hen staying in a B&B and much nicer. Would definitely stay here again when next in Bath.

“Charming Bath home”
Reviewed April 11, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

A charming restored Victorian? terraced house located in a quiet residential area of Bath. It is comfortable and warm with a well equipped kitchen. A few period touches such as the original tiling added to the charm of the house.
The house is in a great location. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the centre of Bath where there are lots of shops and restaurants. There are two different supermarkets within a 15 minute walk of the house if you want to make your own meals.
The owner provided lots of detailed information before we arrived and answered all our questions. There was a welcoming tray of coffee/ tea and milk in the fridge when we arrived which we enjoyed.
