We ate here on a Monday night when we came across it by chance. I didn't really like the atmosphere, and it was a little noisy due to two Christmas parties (as you would expect for December). The room is quite large and bright so not very intimate. The food was reasonably quick and tasty although one of our meals wasn't quite as ordered.

Bog standard but non greasy mexican food. decent choice of veggie option, and certainly value for money. Portions were a sensible size and food came in a timely manner. Unfortunately we waited forever for the bill ( that lost them a tip) and the service overall was average at best.

Visited here mid week in the evening with friends, the lighting of the restaurant was quite bright for an evening setting so on asking the did dim the lights, we had a shared platter to start and sangria jugs which were reasonably priced. We had main meals each which were generous and tasty, all round a good value for food and drinks.

lovely restaurant and fabulous cocktails. especially the 2 for 1 between 5-7pm. Was set to become a firm favourite until we were given a new cocktail we hadn't odered. Assumed it as a lovely touch to make us welcome and encourage us to come back UNTIL it appeared on the bill! Was taken off when questioned but not with the best grace. Shame. lovely friendly place but don't get caught out!

I visited on Saturday night with 5 friends and it was the first time that any of us had eaten there and to be honest some of us didn't even know it was there at all. Had we known we would have been there sooner. It's doesn't look anything like a Mexican from the outside being in one of the lovely Georgian buildings in Bath. The restaurant is split into the larger main restaurant area and then several smaller rooms which can be used for groups, one of which we had and it was lovely. You can also just have a drink if you fancy one. Think Chiquitos but more for grown ups and more comfortable surroundings.
The atmosphere was great, the staff were all very friendly and when we asked one of the waiters if he would take photos of us all together he was more than happy to oblige.
The menu was in some ways typical Mexican restaurant food, but with a nice twist in some cases. Not overly priced and good portions on the whole, although one of us had the Mexican paella and was a bit disappointed, the rest of us had burritos, fajitas etc and were more than happy. The desserts were lovely to. We sampled a few cocktails and they certainly hit the spot!!
There was some great music playing in the background and I was tempted to ask what it was, but forgot. I blamed the Long Island iced tea!
All in all a great night out, everyone in the main dining area looked like they were having good fun aswell and I have booked up for another night in December.
