Owner description: Thermae Bath Spa is Britain's only natural thermal Spa and benefits from the warm, mineral-rich waters which the Celts and Romans enjoyed over 2,000 years ago. Located in the heart of the World Heritage city of Bath, Thermae is a remarkable combination of five historic buildings and the contemporary architecture of the New Royal Bath. “Enjoyable but expensive”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

I have visited Bath a few times now and each time I have come to the Thermae Spa. I find that the entrance fee (around £26) is expensive considering you are only entilted to a 2 hour slot. It is however very enjoyable and I never find 2 hours enough. The rooftop pool is stunning, I usually go in the evening when its dark as it is very relaxing. Water really warm even though it has been raining! We did not pre book or queue any of the times we have been here. Can be quite crowded - especially on the top floor. The different steam rooms are great. Worth going - just be aware of the price. A must go to in Bath.

We pre booked so did not have to queue which is a good idea.
Went during the week so not too crowded. Rooftop pool was lovely and warm considering it was drizzling with rain! Treatments were ok would not bother with Kraxon stove something and nothing really.... Massage was good tho. Did not feel pressured to buy product used on me just explanation given at end of treatment with leaflet and if wanted to purchase you could at the shop when you left choice is yours.
Food was very good and staff friendly. Place kept very clean at all times.

“Relax if you don't have to queue”
Reviewed October 9, 2012 via mobile

£26 for 2 hours is reasonable for two hours of relaxation. Can be a bit overcrowded on the rooftop but as soon as you find your space it's worth it!

“A great experience”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

This is a must-do when on a visit to Bath. The roof-top pool is a treat and the view across the city is a delight. There are 4 Steam rooms - hot, hotter, hotter still and wow! but that's hot. Each one has a different fragrance - sandlewood, lemon, eucalyptus. We were on a budget so we didn't have any treatments.Would have liked to. though.
