“Love the Spicy Chickpea pasty!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2013

Positives: I’ve been in here a few times and always enjoy the pasties. I’ve found a new favourite: spicy chickpea- it’s really yummy!! They do a special deal for a pasty and hot drink which is good.

Negatives: There is limited space to sit inside, so it can get a bit cramped. The tables are also quite wobbly.

“Pasty's are Great!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 6, 2012

We ate from Cornwall Pasty in Bath and Oxford. Having watched Harry Potter a few too many times, we were curious as to what a Pasty was. They are delicious! I got the steak and Stilton, and my husband got the traditional. If you are in the UK, you must try a pasty from West Cornwall Pasty Company. It is a grab-and-go type of place, no seating usually, so it's not for romantic dinners or special occasions. It's great for grabbing a quick bite that you can eat while touring the city though.

“Mediocre food, poor service - no toilets! Is that legal?”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2012

Popped in for a pasty and teas and coffee last weekend.
The clumsy layout of the shop and the unprofessional service suggested
that this might be a student place where people are just learning the
ropes.
So, tips for learners;
1. Do not furnish a TINY space with the largest, heaviest chairs you can
find and don’t put too many tables in.
2. Don’t put your drinks chiller in the middle of the only passing place
in the tiny shop.
3. Fix any wobbly tables so customers don’t spill their teas.
4. Learn about customer service.
5. And seriously, don’t all places that serve food and drink require a
toilet by law – e.g. for hand washing? If not then at least put a sign up
to warn customers of the fact rather than being incredibly unapologetic and
directing them to use the loo at a nearby Costa.

OK food but really laughably unprofessional.

“the worst”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2012

I am at a loss to explain the favorable reviews I read about this place. Either my experience was an anomaly, or theirs was. The traditional pasty we ordered and received was actually inedible. I think the word putrid might not be too strong to describe its taste. My wife (who is English) and I have traveled more than once through Cornwall and Devon and have enjoyed many delicious and satisfying Cornish pasty experiences. This was an experience of a completely different, a completely appalling, sort. If others have eaten satisfactorily at this establishment, that will remain a mystery to me.

“pork & apple pasty-yum!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2012

Very few pasty shops in Bath had any indoor seating. We were tired and it was a little chilly so this was a nice stop. My mom had never had a pasty before so it was a good introduction. We ordered one pork & apple and one chicken & mushroom. Both were good, but the pork & apple was better!
