we ate early at 6, but it was already very busy, with a lively atmosphere and quite noisy, which was great for us as we didnt have to worry about the kids being a bit loud! i would advise booking in advance. Staff greeted us in a very friendly manner and showed us to our table. we were quickly served our drinks and food didnt take long either. the waitress was attentive and lovely to my kids, and nothing seemed too much trouble. the manager came out and informed us very apologetically that my eldest daughter's meal choice wasn't available, so she happily chose something else. at the end he came over and said he had not charged us for her dessert by way of a goodwill gesture. nice touch. food is reasonably priced, kids meals around £5-7 and mains round £8-15. we had lamb steak, beautifully cooked, and enchillada. we were happy with our meal overall, and the cocktails were great too. good variety of 'world foods' plus some more traditional dishes. would recommend for families but also for groups of adults. very nice meal experience.

Excellent service and great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place especially the booth upstairs and near to the station.

Ate at Giraffe Bath on Saturday 6th October and was very pleasantly surprised. We booked an early table (booking necessary on Friday / Saturday) as we were off to the local Comedy Club for 8.30 so didn't have much time.

The restaurant was packed and we had a very pleasant waiter who was very polite and served with a smile and decor / ambience very busy but a bit plain but clean. We dined from the Special Menu, £9.95 each for two courses which we figured would be quick and pre-prepared to a degree which we guess it was but food was very good quality and tasty.

Not one for a special night out but if you want good food and are not fussed about airs and graces, would highly recommend. Think we paid £38 for two courses, a couple of drinks each and a tip so very good value too !

We went to Giraffe and it was okay. It was very clean in fairness and the atmosphere was good. I personally very much enjoyed my food - the sirloin steak and the chicken popcorn. Unfortunately my girlfriend was not so impressed, she found that in her prawn cocktail starter there was a total of 5/6 actual prawns. On top of this her rump steak sandwich was very dissappointing, in that it was overly chewy and the roll it was served in was too hard to even bite into. This was catered to well when the meal was stricken from the menu so it has been forgiven, although we did have to buy a chinese on the way home. The pricing was reasonable and I would recommend it, just not what my gf had.
