Whilst staying in Bath we thought we would follow some great trip advisor reviews to visit the Mint room, and it was well worth an hour walk! We took the address off here and set off on the 20 minute walk, only to not be able to find it at all where trip adviser said it was. A quick look at the website and we realised its not in the centre of Bath, nevertheless we were determined to get there. After a long walk we arrived, we hadn't booked but were shown to a lovely table in a fantastic modern restaurant. Our table was intimate but spacious, and importantly we weren't elbow to elbow with fellow diners.

The waiters we friendly, polite and attentive but left just the right amount of time as to not rush our meal in anyway. Being a vegetarian there was plenty of choice - the starters, mains and accompaniments were out of this world - the best sag aloo ever! We finished the meal with a fantastic mango sorbet, with every course beautifully and artistically presented.

I'd say the best indian we've been to, and we've been to a lot :)

We were amazed by the quality of the food. The standard of food was far above what we'd anticipated. However we had problems with booking. As we were planning on eating here for our first wedding anniversary my husband booked online, then phoned a day later to check the booking had gone through. It hadn't so he booked over the phone and was told he would receive a confirmation email. He didn't so a few days later he phoned again to see if there was a problem. They still had no record of our booking! So they took the booking again!
Upon finally visiting the restaurant they still had no booking for us so we had to stand to one side until they set us up a table. When I say set up, i don't mean clear a table I mean they panicked a lot, didn't apologise and then finally sat us down in a half empty restaurant! Crazy! We had booked 3 times and not managed to get a table booked. No apology! Shame because the food was amazing.

Once again, I had an outstanding meal here this evening. The food is incredibly tasty with lovely fresh flavours. The vegetarian sharing platter is gorgeous; we ordered 2 platters for 4 of us and they came shared out on an individual slate platter each. It looked and tasted fabulous. We had a mixture of meat and veggie curries and all were excellent. Service is equally as good. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We were a group of 9 and all had an excellent meal. The service was also excellent. We went on a Saturday night and the atmosphere was very good. The food was excellent quality and very different to the usual thing you would get at an Indian restaurant.

We ate here on the 31st May and wow what a fabulous meal. Food was top quality and full of flavour. Service was professional and attentive. It's our first time here and can't wait to return. Not your average Indian meal and a little bit more expensive than the usual indian meal but well worth paying for such a wonderful experience.
