“Fantastic Anniversary Meal”
Reviewed June 2, 2014 via mobile

We ate here on the 31st May and wow what a fabulous meal. Food was top quality and full of flavour. Service was professional and attentive. It's our first time here and can't wait to return. Not your average Indian meal and a little bit more expensive than the usual indian meal but well worth paying for such a wonderful experience.

“Classy Indian Dining”
Reviewed June 1, 2014

The mint room is a modern Indian restaurant based on the outskirts of Bath city centre.

We (myself and girlfriend) went there on a Sunday evening after travelling from London. It was quite at the time (9pm), thus we were seated immediately.

It was pleasant to find that you were provided with Voss still/ or sparkling water (free of charge).
The low lights and relaxing indian music really helped set a comfortable ambience.

We started with Tiger Prawn Tempuras, which were well prepared and arrived quickly.

My girlfriend ordered King Prawn Balchao (the prawns are massive) and i ordered Chennai Sea Bass with coconut rice.

The meal itself was very tasty, perhaps not as spicy as i would like but my fish was cooked correctly and the accompanying sauce was full of flavour.

The restaurant is very preferable for couples and also for large groups. The staff are friendly and attentive and i would certainly visit again.

Note
It is hard to find parking around the Mint room, but we were informed to park at the nearby Homebase, so this should solve any parking concerns. The restaurant is around 8 mins away from Bath centre (driving).

“Definitely worth paying a little more for”
Reviewed June 1, 2014

After our local indian restaurant performed poorly on the last couple of orders we tried something new, and so glad we did. Some of the best indian food we've eaten for a long time. We didn't eat in as we have a little baby; so take-out was our only option, but the restaurant looked lovely and every table was occupied. We ordered at 7.30pm on a Saturday night and it was ready to collect in 30mins. Both mains were beautiful, loads of meat in each and the Sag Chana was amazing, even the Pilau Rice tasted awesome! We'll be going back for sure - either more takeaway or dining in (babysitter grandparents allowing!)

“Birthday meal”
Reviewed May 31, 2014

Our first time at mint and no pressure it was my birthday!!
It's a large roomy restaurant with pleasant decor it was quiet the night we went and didn't seem to have much atmosphere but we couldn't have been more welcomed and looked after.
The food was wonderful served with flare and beautiful.
It was the best Indian food we have certainly ever had!
It's not cheap but def worth a special occasion treat.
Looking forward to returning.
