Myself, my wife and young adult daughters stayed at one of the top floor apartments, which included a very spacious living/TV room with very fast Wi-Fi, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. It is a delightful and elegant house in a quiet location, yet only a few moments walk across Pulteney Bridge into town. Breakfast is served in a charming and bright basement room. The menu is superb with many options sourced locally and prepared by a professional chef. David provided 2 dinner recommendations and BOTH exceeded our expectations. David and the rest of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend Henrietta House and hope to return one day!
David, Thank You VERY much

Room Tip: We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor, which included a separate lounge/tv room.

The location is excellent, a two minute walk from Pulteney Bridge, indoor market, and access to river walks, Abbey, a variety of diverse restaurants and lovely town centre. Parking is available with the option of hotel parking or street parking at a reasonable price. Staff welcoming, helpful, informative and very attentive but not intrusive. Hotel tastefully decorated, of the period, and very clean with good facilities. Breakfast was first-class. Food was fresh, plentiful and full of variety with special diets well-catered for. Breakfast staff were efficient, polite and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked another visit for July!! Bath is a beautiful city with so much to offer and Henrietta House is definitely a good platform with which to begin your stay!

On arrival we were greeted by a very courteous and friendly staff member who carried our luggage and showed us our room, gave us a map with directions to the centre of town and advice on where to visit.

Henrietta House is on a charming Georgian terraced street. Our small double room was cosy, extremely clean and had some lovely touches like fresh apples, home made cookies and tea/coffee making facilities. The heating is controllable so you can choose how warm/cool you'd like your room.

We ventured out and were delighted to find ourselves in Bath centre within minutes (on foot). The location certainly helped us make the most of our stay.

Breakfasts here are AMAZING! I have never seen a breakfast menu with so many choices on it anywhere. So much of the ingredients served are home made - lovely! The restaurant staff were so welcoming and polite ensuring we left our breakfast table feeling satisfied each morning.

Each time we arrived/went out there was a friendly guy in reception to say hello and ask how we were, etc. We really were sorry to leave.

I could go on and on (but I won't!) All that's left for me to say is that WE WILL BE BACK as we loved it here so very much.

Thank you to everyone at Henrietta House x

We have just returned from a short weekend away at Henrietta House and will definitely be returning. They were impressive even before our arrival, emailing us to let us know we had been allocated the double room we requested and, when I emailed to ask for restaurant recommendations, they were very quick to reply with some great suggestions.

Upon arrival the hotel is very charming and has a lot more character than your larger/chain hotels. The staff could not have been better; David on reception was fabulous, made us feel very welcome and provided us with a map on which he showed us all the places we were interested in. He also lent us some towels to take to the Thermae Spa to save us having to pay for them there which was very kind, especially as it was on the day we were checking out.

The rooms are clean and well appointed and the beds comfortable. Our room was on the top floor and was very spacious with a bathroom with a shower over the tub. Upon arrival we were brought a bottle of mineral water, some biscuits and some fruit which was a nice touch.

Locationwise this place also comes very highly recommeded, only 10 minutes walk from the station and only about 5 minutes from the heart of Bath for the Abbey, Spa, Galleries etc.

The breakfast was very nice with hot food brought to the table and toast, cereal, croissants etc to help yourself to.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a charming, central hotel which has lovely rooms and great staff. We will be back in spring!

Room Tip: Our room was a kingsize on the top floor. Lovely and recommended but can get very hot, so keep the w...

You are greeted with a warm and genuine welcome. Our en suite room was spacious and elegantly furnished. The art work around the house is inspiring. You can purchase a parking permit at reception. The situation is perfect for sight seeing, with everything within walking distance.Wonderful breakfast with much home produce and locally sourced food. You are made to feel special . I highly recommend this charming guest house. We celebrated New Year here.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We booked the top apartment which was lovely for a family with older children. A very good location for all attractions. We would definitely book again

We had to ask twice for our breakfast which took a very long time to be brought to the table and was not of the high standard I was hoping for from previous reviews
