My friend and I stayed in Henrietta House the night before a 60 mile cycle round the Chew Valley and we couldn't have stayed anywhere better. The location was ideal, the welcome warm but not intrusive, the hotel itself is beautifully appointed, the breakfast was wonderful - home made juices, jams and marmalades - and when we had problems with one of our bikes, they really couldn't have been more helpful. If you want to stay somewhere just a little bit special, but laid back, it's perfect. In fact, don't stay there as I want to be able to book it next time!

On a recent visit to Bath we had the pleasure of staying at Henriette House, which is a beautifully restored property and perfectly located. We picked this B&B because of it's location and also it's good reviews and found that everything that was said was true. The staff were extremely helpful and charming - nothing too much trouble. Excellent rooms, comfy beds with all amenities, and little treats like fresh fruit and homemade biscuits. Parking permits, so no need to worry about the car. The breakfasts were delicious and included nice little touches as freshly made juice, fresh fruit, home made muesli, marmalades and jams all served by smart, professional staff. A few minutes walk to the river and gardens and 5 minutes to the main attractions and also restaurants I would highly recommend this B&B and will definitely stay here on our next visit.

Being a solo traveller on a short break, I felt very comfortable and safe during my stay at
Henrietta House. Wonderful hotel in a convenient location. Staff were relaxed and at the same time efficient. Breakfast was first class with top quality produce and top-ups if required.

We had a wonderful one night stay at Henrietta House. I did take a fair amount of time researching city center B&B's/hotels, and opted for this boutique hotel due to it's good reviews, extremely central location, convenient parking options, and potentially great sounding breakfast!

The spacious twin room we had was on the ground floor (no.4), and whilst we were conscious of the sounds of the front door opening and closing a couple of times later in the evening, it was otherwise really quiet. The twin beds we had were exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was very generously sized. The breakfast the next morning didn't disappoint, a beautiful array of freshly squeezed juices, homemade muesli, fresh breads, and an extensive list of hot cooked delicacies. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

If you don't have time to do the research on Bath's city center hotels, consider it done (in depth!), book Henrietta House and you won't be disappointed. We'd return in a flash!

My husband & I had just one night here for a quick visit to Bath. It was Important to have good location and to this end the position of the hotel is perfect, 5 mins from the roman baths and the main hub of the city. The property is beautifully restored and the staff absolutely wonderful, so helpful, professional and genuinely caring. We had a superior room which if you can I would recommend, it was charming and well catered. Home made biscuits, beautiful bathroom products and fat fluffy towels, the bed was big and really comfy. The breakfast was also excellent. We had dinner at Jamie Oliver's which was just 5 mins walk and also very good.Loved Bath, would love to have had more time there.

Room Tip: We had room 16, loved it.

We arrived for a two evening stay and greeted by the friendly staff who advised us on the surrounding attractions and restaurants.
The hotel is of a high standard both clean and tidy. The manager upgraded our room to a suite at no extra cost which was extremely comfortable.
There was a good choice for breakfast. I settled for the full English which included locally produced sausages and bacon and I was advised by the very polite waitress that extra portions were available should I need them.My wife opted for the smoke salmon with omlette which she thoroughly enjoyed.
This was our first trip to Bath and the hotel and staff did everything possible to make our stay one to remember.

Henrietta house is well - located, very close to the shops and restaurants on Pulteney Bridge and 5 minutes walk from the Roman Baths, the Abbey and the historic centre. Close by in the other direction are Henrietta Park and the Holburne Art Gallery, which has a lovely cafe/restaurant with ample indoor and outdoor seating looking onto Sydney Gardens. The building is a late Georgian town house which has been tastefully restored and furnished in keeping with its origins. This made our room seem a little plain at first sight, but actually it was warm, comfortable and well - equipped, with flat screen TV, drinks making facilities and fresh fruit. The en suite bathroom was lovely. The breakfast menu offered lots of choice and the reception staff were exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful about tourist attractions, restaurants etc. Do ask about car parking, though; we paid £10 for on - site parking, then discovered there are cheaper options (though possibly not as easy) on - street. This was a very minor drawback, however, and we would thoroughly recommend Henrietta House.
