My fiance and I researched where to go but ultimately stumbled across this place.... thank goodness. Great value, very attentive staff, best pizza I have had outside Italy - and that's a lot of pizza! Aubergines were perfection but the only down side was they wouldnt give us the recipe ;)

My husband and I were in Bath for his birthday and stumbled across this restaurant and what a great time we had.
The waitress we had was lovely and certainly offered a great service with a smile. The food was amazing, we had the platter for 2 to start with which consisted of italian meats, olives etc which was very tasty then we both had the sirloin steak which was the best steak we've ever eaten which was cooked to perfection :-) due to the large portions we were unable to manage a desert so next time we will try and keep a bit of room. This restaurant was an amazing find and well worth every penny which wasn't too expensive and would recommend going to experience to anyone, I can't wait to go back.

We were staying in Bath for our wedding anniversary and wanted some where nice to have dinner and celebrate. We looked at quite a lot of restaurants but none took our fancy or were too expensive for our budget. We spotted Joya from the other side of the river and once we saw the menu we booked a table for that evening. Upon arriving we were quickly shown to our table by the friendly staff. The menu had a good selection of starters and mains with a good mix of traditional Italian foods like pasta and pizza together with steaks, chicken and lamb. There was also specials. We opted for the sharing starter and were not disappointed when it arrived - a good selection of Italian meats, mozerella, the best olives I have ever tasted and bread. For mains we had fillet steak and also ordered the Gorgonzola sauce and brandy and peppercorn sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection, complemented by the sauces, it just melted in my mouth. We also opted for dessert and an after dinner liqueur. We wanted to space our courses out and the staff were more than happy when we asked for a gap between each course. We also found it to be good value with both of us having three courses each (including fillet steak), a drink and liqueur, the bill only came to £88. We both said that we have not had a dinner out of that quality for quite some time. The good quality food combined with the excellent service meant we left very happy. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Please do go, even if its just for a pizza and a glass of wine, you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all the staff. We will be back when we return to Bath.

Looking for somewhere to eat we passed this place and thought the menu looked great. A family run business too. We found the quality of the food outstanding and has a thoroughly enjoyable evening with two courses each and a bottle of wine. Service was excellent, friendly an efficient. The pasta was delicious and the specials menu too. Excellent, cant recommend enough.

Joya restaurant is our favourite Italian restaurant. We love their pasta dishes, the steaks are amazing and the nicest touch of all is their specials' menu. Every time we visit the specials are different and we have fun choosing and tasting at least one dish from the specials. Without a doubt this is the best Italian restaurant in Bath!
