We chose this B&B as we were visiting for a special occasion which demanded something above your average hotel or B&B experience - the reviews promised something a little different and we were not disappointed. The whole place is decorated and furnished incredibly sympathetically to the location whilst at the same time you'll always feel at home. The larger room has a rather spectacular adjacent bathroom of its own, the like of which I've never seen in accommodation at this price before - the rolltop bath is a fantastic centre-piece. The second room with en suite bathroom, whilst much smaller still had the same charm as the rest of the house. Another thing that set it apart from my previous experiences with smaller B&Bs was the substantial breakfast selection - you certainly won't be leaving hungry. This is all provided by hosts who couldn't possibly be more friendly and helpful. If you like the idea of swapping hotel room gadgets and flatscreen TVs for a step back in time that fits in perfectly with its surroundings then you will love this place!

Room Tip: If you are staying for a few days and really want to feel at home then I would recommend choosing th...

We stayed here this weekend as we had come for a friends wedding in Bath! We would definitely stay again and definitely recommend it to others!

The room was beautiful and quirky but in keeping with the history of the building, they were clean and the four poster in our room was THE most comfy nights sleep we have had in ages!!! Sleeping in our own bed will never be the same again!!

The owners of the b&b were absolutely lovely! They were super helpful about where to go and what to see and we had a good natter with them at breakfast too.

The breakfast was beautiful. There was a huge amount of food on offer and it was a pleasant change from the typical greasy English you normally get at b&b's. We went for the smoked fish option and loved it!!!

The lounge where you could have a seat and a drink was lovely.

Parking was easy, just on the road nearby and they sorted a permit for us.

The only bad point was that we had to come home!

Xx

Partner and I stayed here the weekend before christmas. Stunning house, great location and friendly owners. Can't fault the quality of this B&b, really enjoyed our stay. Stayed in the larger room which was styled perfectly for this accommodation. Adjacent bathroom was outstanding and styled equally as well. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Even though house is on a main road we had a very good nights sleep with no noise problem. Really took advantage of the very nice tub and had a good chance to wind down before the rush of christmas. The quality of the breakfast was in our opinion, quite literally, the best anyone could ask for. The price we paid for this room was very fair and we would happily pay it again. Hope to visit again some time next year!

We had a three night stay in this wonderful B&B in Bath. Just two letting rooms in a large, beautifully appointed Georgian House. No cooked breakfast, which would normally be a big no for me. But cooked meats and cheese, or a range of fish instead. Biggest selection of jams I've ever seen. And served up in the family kitchen in the basement. Attentive, helpful hosts round off a great find. Recommended, and we will be going back.

We stayed (sadly) just one night, in the large room - it cost a little more, but is well worth it. It's huge, decorated in a personal and quirky way, with a connected bathroom that is a show-stopper: large old-style clawfoot bathtub, a huge shower, an armchair, a fireplace and a view of trees and fields that you can soak in while you bath.

There's also a large guest lounge downstairs with stereo, books, and whiskey (that you pay for using an honesty box).

The B&B is very personalised - Liza has an arts background, and you can see this coming through the house. I don't think I've ever stayed in a place where more thought went into making our stay unique and comfortable.

It looks a little out of town, but it's very central, and a short walk will have you in the very centre of Bath.

Would strongly recommend a stay here!

Room Tip: If you can, book the large room. It's worth the little extra.

Very comfortable stay in this beautiful Georgian House. Definitely a sense of staying in someone's home but Pete and Liza are very welcoming and happy to share their thoughts and ideas on what to do in the area so felt very at ease. Large rooms, fab bathroom and great location. Amazing continental breakfast - what's not to like!
