Booked twin room but placed in double so traded for a 2 room suite with 1 dbl and 2 twins which was nice. No top sheet just duvet but seemed clean (common bedding configuration in UK).Carpet had some questionalble soiling but over all cleanliness OK. Toilet in en suite bath very difficult to flush - took significant force applied to handle. Good water pressure in shower with plenty of hot water. Staff efficient but not overly friendly. Fair value in light of location. NOTE: bring ear plugs! The sea gulls were loud and continuous even during the night.

I booked 2 single rooms en suite for my friend and me. Room no.2 is quite nice with high ceiling, large wardrobe and table, but room no.19 is very small and hot! (there's no wardrobe in this room, but a very small space to hang your clothes.

If you stay in a front facing room, you won't be able to sleep until 2-3am as there's a pub next to the guesthouse which is very noisy.

Anyway, this guesthouse is in a great location... only 5 minutes walk from the train station and Roman Bath. The staff was also very helpful. Good choice of breakfast.

Disgracefully overpriced as it's shabby, dated and not even hair dryers or plug sockets in the room- we weren't expecting too much but a decent nights sleep and the ability to dry hair would have been enough to keep us happy. Staff totally not interested in resolving problems just happily take over £100 a night from you and smirk. I warn you, ALL of the rooms are affected by the nightclub below not just 2 rooms which they point out at reception ( even then they tell you but explain it's out of their control so tough basically!)

Me and my girlfriend looked around and this hotel was by far the cheapest. We had read the reviews so we where a little tence about booking but with the location, which is truely great and the cost being about 69 pounds for a double room per night just couldnt be turned down. The first problem i see with going with a central location is going to be parking, the hotel doesnt have a carpark so you have to use a long stay one. thankfully there are 2 nearby 12 pounds for 24hrs which is not too bad, the car parks arent that large so you will have to be lucky to get a spot. Thankfully a car was leaving just as i arrived and i jumped in it. thats where it stayed for 2 days and we had no trouble with theft or vandilisum.

You do have to pay upfront and i guess it is rather pot luck which room you get to how plesant your stay will be. Staff where very nice and accumidating. Our only problem was that we thought we had booked an en suite, our mistake i think and the room we got given the window looked out onto a brick wall. yes the room was very basic so i went down to ask if they had a room with an en suite avialable. i had us moved over at only 12 extra for 2 nights which was a bonus really.

Yes the new room was also basic but well the bed was fine and we had a veiw and the flat screen TV looked in better nic. Bathroom was fine, still basic but we had no complaints. no problem with hot water either.

Yes on a saturday night there was a lot of rugby fans in the bar down stairs, a whole coach load infact and they seem to stay here when theres a match on in the day but we where on the top floor and where not disturbed at all, once the door closed that seperates the bar from the hotel you could hear nothing.

Breakfast was simple but as a continental buffet breakfast goes it was fine.

If your on a tight buget this place is fine, but i hope that next time we go we have an extra 40 quid and go somewhere else.

Booked via internet...OMG! Lesson learnt. Very misleading. Pay on arrival obviously because no one in their right mind would stay if they saw the place first! Even on a v small budget you could make the place look nicer than it did...at best poor student accomodation/brothel!!! Lamps didn't match and they could not even afford light bulbs. Rooms tiny and uncared for, carpets wet due to poor en suite! Have they not heard of Tesco basics??? Given the location (which was very good) we thought we still had a deal BUT after looking around whilst there, there were cheaper nicer places around!!! Will never go back! Love Bath, not so in love with Parade park...and thats being kind! Could be so much more. Very disappointed.

We have just spent the weekend at Parade Park Bath. When we booked we were told only Four poster bedroom was available at £100 a night. We had hoped to get a room at the back but unfortunately could not change on arrival. We have stayed before and breakfasts, cleanliness, staff and location are great. The big problem is the noise at the front and we were kept awake on both nights. It is pointless having a lovely room with a fourposter and you can not get a good nights sleep, plus having to pay £100 a night seems very poor value when the noise is so bad. As another review says when you complain to staff you are told there is nothing they can do. Well the prices should be lowered for a start - you may as well have all the windows open - the noise is so intrusive. We will definitely look at other places if we go to Bath again.

Stayed at the Parade Park for the Bath Christmas Markets - we had stayed there before so knew what to expect..I visited with my mother and aunt and was able to get them one of the rooms at the back with less noise from the street outside although this was actually not a problem. My room at the front was huge - twin bedded and en suite bathroom. We made use of Lambretta's bar where the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great, staff really friendly and helpful, and although not a full english, there was everything we needed. A definite bonus is the ability to leave your bags at the hotel after you have checked out, to go and enjoy some extra shopping time. A great stay!
