“Best Bath walking tour - glad we chose this one!”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

A pleasant introduction to Bath, circulating the centre of the City - passing through some of most notable attractions. The history of the city is easy to follow - when presented by Sue -our thoughtful guide. After the centre of the city, the walking tour fans out to take in the famous Royal Crescent and the Circus - returning to the city centre via the Assembly rooms and the Pulteney bridge. Walking distance is less than 2 miles with rest places to sit along the way as Sue relates the important features - be aware there are stairs and a few small climbs in the city and Royal Victoria Park/Gardens. Sue can answer any questions you have - being a long term Bath resident. I'd recommend her to friends visiting Bath - hence the review.

“A sampling of Bath”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

We booked a three hour private weekday tour with Sue for our one day in Bath. It was time well spent as she guided us around the town to all sorts of great sites, accompanied by all sorts of anecdotes and learnings. Loved hearing about the architecture and do not miss the fabulous tapestry. We could easily have spent more time wandering the canal and countryside with Sue and were sad to have missed out on this. We appreciated that Sue was flexible and able to meet us quite early in the morning. For this early start we were well rewarded in that we were often the only people gazing at the beauty of Bath!

Second time round this year after going on the tour last year as well. This time I have learned something different ,very enjoyable once again. The two hour tour is full of history, facts and modern day humour.

“A to hour immersion in Bath”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

We booked a private tour with Sue. She first of all asked us what our main interest where and subsequently made sure to highlight things to do with those interest during our tour. Sue is extremely knowledgeable and could for instance quote passages from Jane Austen's Persuasion and Northanger Abbey, but could also give details about Dickens' visit to Bath and the various parts of Bath's history. All concise, clear and in two hours. After the tour we felt we had a good feeling of Bath and would be able to spend the next two days exploring it on our own and dwell on all the wonderful parts at our own leisure.
