Good location. Warm welcome and the staff could not be more helpful. They certainly looked after us very well. Peter is a good source of information about the best places to visit and eat. Eastern Eye and The Circus are certainly worth a visit. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean rooms, comfy beds and good facilities. Well stocked fridge in the room solves any problems if you want some nibbles or a glass of wine late at night. Breakfast is great with plenty of choice.

We found this B&B through Rick Steve's guidebooks and so glad we did. We had a great 3 night stay at the start of our England adventure. The location is good, you just have to stroll up the street to the entrance of a park and there was the Royal Crescent. We were able to walk everywhere. When we did get our rental car from Hertz, it was also just up the street. And we were able to easily find street parking with a permit from the B&B. Peter was a gracious host. Sarah was the one to check us in and gave great recommendations for restaurants and sights to see. Lily was wonderful with the breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, this was our FAVORITE B&B breakfast. Not only did they have a large array of fresh, juicy fruit and granola and fruit juices...they also provided a cook-to-order breakfast with your own basket of warm toast, croissants and scones! We stayed in the Georgian room that overlooked the front street. No problem with noise. The room was charming and very welcoming. The bath, though small, was well designed and more than adequate. We would definitely recommend to others and would return on our next trip. Bath is an amazing city and the Marlborough House is a wonderful place to explore it from!

Stayed here for a weekend for 2 nights and it was all great!

The lcoation combined with the price is ideal. The hotel is approx 10 minute walk from town, but far enough away to not be noisy. Our room was adequate with all you woudl expect for a B&B. Breakfast was lovely. We were surprised at the quality of the B&B based on the price so that is definetly a plus point!

The owners are also lovely.

Hi folks we stayed here by pure luck we had phone nearly every hotel and bed and breakfast in Bath Peter was beyond helpful!! and very informative from where all the sights and historic buildings are to great little shops and a great knowledge of where to have a tasty and or cheap meal out and gave us a handy map of Bath so we wouldn't get lost ;-)
The building has a lot of charm as a typical Bath style property three off road parking spaces
nice reception room/breakfast area very clean and spacious over three floors our room was at the top attic room very spacious very comfortable bed on suit shower toilet free view TV Organic tea coffee and bits
Peter prides himself with the fact all his products are natural and planet friendly and organic
Nice vegetarian breakfast plenty of choice (saying that I am partial to a bit of bacon for my brekkie)
Would recommend this B&B and WILL stay here again
Great job Peter and girls

There is always that possibility when you return to a cherished holiday memory of the repeat not being as good, but thankfully not only was Marlborough House as charming as the first time but even better. The room is so clean and comfortable, in fact the whole place just has that factor of reducing your stress levels when you enter! Breakfast is delicious, and sets you up for a day filled with exploring. Bath was as lovely in the winter as the spring, would recommend the American (little drive out of town) and Holbourne museums. Pleased to say we have found somewhere that we would be happy to return too again and again, and that's thanks to Peter, Sarah and Lily's attention to detail and genuine hospitality.
