Stayed at the Aquae Sulis for two nights with my partner for a weekend break. Huge room was comfortable and clean and had a door out to the garden. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice with freshly cooked hot selection. Parking on site was a big plus. It is a little out of the main city centre (about 25 mins walk) but with Victoria Park or the riverside to walk by it was fine. Staff all very friendly and helpful with plenty of tips on how to organise your time, which was very helpful as we had never visited Bath before.
Will definately return to Bath and to the Aquae Sulis, and am already recommending it to all for their summer breaks.

This was my first time staying in a B&B hotel. It's much better than I imagined. We stayed in a family room with my little son. Room is nice and clean, bed is very comfortable. Owner is a very helpful person, told me everything about bath. I would stay here again next time.

Staff gave us a friendly welcome on arrival. On site parking is provided and our room was very clean and had a great shower. The bed was hard! Free internet access is available and we appreciated the convenience of being able to use this facility. A good quality English breakfast was served in the dining room. We took about 30 minutes (walking along the river path) to walk to the centre of Bath. For dinner we walked to the nearby Dolphin Inn which serves good pub food(about a 10 minute walk). This B&B is good value for the location and facilities provided.

We have stayed twice at Aquae Sulis, and have been pleasantly surprised each time. We stayed in the "Dr Oliver" annexe each time, and this was extremely comfortably furnished, with a modern and clean en-suite shower room. The breakfast was superb, and the bar in the evening was pleasant ans friendly. The gardens are nice, and wireless broadband internet access (at no extra cost) was av available.

I've just returned from a long weekend at this Hotel and I'm bowled over. The Manageress really knows how to look after her guests and she bent over backwards to make our stay perfect - even suggesting we ordered take away after a long day out for which she set the tables and provided everything else (no mean feat for 8 of us). Rooms were fabulous and clean and beds comfy, breakfast gorgeous and the little touches like the use of the computer just made the difference. A short bus ride or drive in to town and some gret eating places nearby. Will definitely be back again. Thanks.

Stayed here with my partner and 16 month old in Oct 08 after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor (they were also one of few who took one night only bookings).

Nice location, a 5 minute drive out of town. Our room overlooked the main road but the secondary glazing kept out most of the noise. I had originaly booked a different room but we were advised that this wasnt a great idea due to a staircase in the room so we were moved to a larger room on the first floor which was lovely with more than ample room.

Very homely feel to the place, nice and warm and cosy. Very quiet. Nice sized room (we were in the Disraeli room). Cot provided as requested.

Breakfast was lovely - cereal, toast, full English, and high chair waiting for our little one.
Staff in all areas were really friendly, helpful and welcoming and I would recommend this B&B to anyone not bothered about being a short distance out of town.

We stayed for one night here en route to Wales. Found hotel via Trip Advisor - agree with all the other positive comments. From the initial phone contact to when we left, the staff were extremely warm, helpful and friendly. We had 4 bikes on the back of our car and they helpfully allowed us to put them in their own garage. They also directed us to the excellent cycle route into Bath. Rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.
