Stayed for a two night break, easy to find with the directions provided.
Nice place, friendly helpful hosts, good rooms (four poster bed!), lovely breakfast. Easy walking distance to bath and the park and ride.
Recommended.

There is nothing negative to say about this hotel. This was a last minute booking and we were not disappointed! We booked the 4 poster room with a view over the gardens and into Bath. Greeted with a friendly service, provided with local maps of the area with recommendations (and discounts) for local places to eat an visit. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. If you do stay here, please don't let in the friendly cat who thinks he lives there - he's very cheeky and laid down in front of the door when we returned from our meal. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return next time we stay in Bath.

Room Tip: If you can stretch your budget, book the 4 poster room with a view - its amazing.

We went to the UK for a long weekend and needed a very late check-in. There was no problem at all, what it was highly appreciated.
Nice place, excellent breakfast and on top of that: superb host.
Thanks a lot!

Lovely rooms, very large;lots of amenities, hosts are wonderful.very accomodating couple;breakfast was very gourmet.only negative was we booked 3 rooms and the "single" paid the same rate as the double rooms
Nice walk to Bath..very doable ; not many restaurants near hotel but taxis are very inexpensive ; would recommend to others

After a meander through the hills surrounding Bath (due to following Google Map directions...I should really buy a Sat-Nav) we arrived at Cranleigh B&B. Having normally stayed at well-known, national hotels in the past, I was slightly nervous at 'gambling' on a traditional B&B....needlessly nervous I have to say. A friendly welcome, a beautiful bedroom (room 3 I think), a quiet location and a perfect breakfast contributed to a wonderful stay and I would happily recommend The Cranleigh to anyone visiting Bath. Make the most of the long walk in (20 mins) and take in a few of the sight on the way (Royal Crescent etc...). Would also recommend Bizarre Bath comedy walk (£7 with B&B key fob) and Thermae Spa Twilight package (£80 for 2 inc. robes, dinner & wine). Cranleigh definitely deserves it highly recommended status found on the review sites! My only recommendation....some free hot tub time for every guest...even for just 15 minutes, I was looking forward to a warm relaxing soak ...until I realised you had to pay for this benefit.....but it nots something which would deter me from staying again.

Stayed here during a weekend couple of months ago, stay was pleasant, breakfast was delicious and Colin the manager was a superb host.

It's only a short distance to the city centre and the roman baths, spa etc.... Will be back again next year.

Stayed here for one night on a weekend break. This is a lovely little B&B 1.5 mile outside of bath. plenty of buses/park and ride to get into the city within 5 mins. Much cheaper than B&Bs in the city and transport easy to get to and from the B&B.
Good breakfast, comfortable room, very homely. Nice owners and staff, very clean. Well worth staying!
