We stayed here for a stay on easter weekend and it is a good place to stay to get your head down. Especially if your out exploring. If I was going to be spending a lot of time in the hotel then this isn't for you.

If staying here, eat out in the evening. One person was manning the bar, serving the food and clearing the tables and she couldn't cope with the volume. Some waited 2hrs for their meal. Breakfast cold.

We stayed at the Travelodge Bath Waterside on the 31st April. As with the re-furbished Travelodge’s, we found the room clean, tidy, with new bedding. The staff on arrival were friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic, but then these are a budget style stopover motel, and suitable for a 1 or 2 night stay. This seems to be bigger than stayed in previously. Even has its own restaurant. The location is good in that you are only 10 minutes walking from the city centre and is good for walks along the river into the city.
As said previously by others, the 5 pound for parking, whilst a bummer having to pay at all, is not to bad, and certainly cheaper than other places.
Back to the restaurant. All I can say is don't eat there!. We checked the menu and it seemed basic food, but the prices were reasonable so we decided to eat in. 2 lasagne's and one meat pie with mash and peas, with a side of chips were ordered. First up we were told there were no peas for the pie. No price reduction or the offer of a side to compensate. Poor effort. The meals arrived reasonably promptly. The lasagne looked like it had been poured onto the plate. A couple of squares of pasta with something that passed for sauce. It all stood about a 1/4 of an inch high, along with some garlic bread that had obviously been freezer burnt. The pie and mash looked reasonable. The pie in itself wasn't that bad just sitting in the lasagne sauce. Obviously dished up with the same utensils. 2 dessertspoons of filling would have been nice instead of 1. The mash was like glue. The instant mash powder was just horrible. You could have used it as mortar and laid bricks. Some brown liquid I think was gravy was with this. All dishes were all obviously reheated from a frozen or thawed state. A poor effort. Certainly couldn't really do much worse. Forgot to add. The chips were good. Shame only a small bowl of them! We were not alone as a gent at the next table complained about his sausages and mash being "stale". He was then told they had been pre-cooked at breakfast and had been re-heated for the evening meal. Poor doesn't even rate there.
I would quite happily stay at the motel again, but would stay as far away from the restaurant as possible.

Room Tip: Eat at the restaurant at your own peril!!

The location of the hotel is great if you're looking to go into the centre. We stayed here to visit Bath Spa and it was only a short walk which was great. We went during the week so it was very quiet and lots of car parking spaces. We ate in the restaurant and there was only one other couple in there! Still the kitchen staff managed to forget my food but brought food out for my BF. Really disappointing service considering how quiet the restaurant was, however the bar manager on shift handled the situation well.

Stayed here for one night. Clean and tidy room. Bed very comfortable and staff very polite and helpful. Ideally situated for centre of Bath and surrounding areas. Breakfast was good and would stay here again.

Stayed here and it was noisy but for a night out its adequate. Staff friendly. The car park you have to pay and the spaces are limited. Rooms ok as one would expect for the price but clean though out toilet made weirdest loud noise when flushed and asked for family room and was put in disabled.

Room Tip: Take change to pay for parking and go to reception for ticket

Great location for hotel. 10 mins from City centre along river. Comfortable room, some noise from railway. But for the price, to be close to Bath was great. Only £5 per 24 hrs to park car. Will return to this hotel. Really enjoyed our break. Been to The Roman Baths and many other places in Bath. I would recommend a visit to Bath at least once. Great laid back City.
