“Fantastic Venue with beautiful Sound”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

This is a hidden gem very close to the centre of Bath - in fact just around the corner from Marks and Spencers. It is an old chapel turned into an amazing venue for intimate concerts, Jazz, folk, alternative country. The sound engineer is exceedingly gifted, so this is a beautiful place to hear gorgeous vocalists, singer songwriters, etc. They often have it set up like an old fashioned night club, with cafe tables and candles and the bar is always open (after all, this is England). Check out what is playing there when you are in town. Another one of Bath's cultural jewels.

“Lovely place for lunch or coffee”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

Lovely atmospheric cafe which serves variations of flat bread salads & meals.I took some friends from Sheffield and they loved it. Their only criticism was that the cakes were on open display for people to sneeze over (!)

“Excellent venue”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

Have been 3 or 4 times to both the cafe during the day, and to the live music venue in the evening. Lovely, intimate venue, friendly staff. A gem of a place.

“Good venue for a range of Artistic and Cultural events”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

First I must admit I only attend the Arts Centre for one regular event, a Wine Appreciation group, which is most enjoyable but I am aware the venue is used for a wide variety of other purposes, many musical.
It is a former Church Hall, the Church having been destroyed in a 1942 Air Raid. It is conveniently situated in the southern part of the town near the Rail a and Bus Stations and adjacent to the newish, and I think attractive, Southgate Shopping area which replaced a hideous 1970's concrete horror.
The venue has good sound and projection facilities, is run by cheerful and efficient staff and is an ideal facility for many local interest groups.
