YO! Sushi is by far my favourite restaurant, and for a lot of reasons. It's clean, with a lively and cheerful atmosphere with helpful service that will come to you at just the push of a button, easily accessible water and it's even exciting to watch the sushi go around on the chain and watch the food being prepared in front of you. The food is cheap and delicious (sushi, chicken, duck and puddings alike), with wonderful portions. Even if you don't see what you want on the conveyer belt, you can just ask the chef to conjure up whatever you feel like, and it'll happen almost immediately. Aside from the atmosphere, this restaurant and it's cuisine is similar to that of sushi restaurants in Akihabara, which is great if you were looking for a real Tokyo experience. YO! Sushi also appear to offer classes if you want to create delicious meals just as they do. I can't see any flaws whatsoever in this amazing restaurant!

We stopped by here for lunch one afternoon on our trip.
Niether of us had ever been to a Yo ushi before, and young waitor was keen to explane how it all worked ect.
The food and service was pretty good, we were sat infront of the kitchen so it was nice to see it being preped however I felt it was a little bit over priced for what it was.
A good atmophere and good use of OTT Japanese pop culture!
The Raman was very good, a must try!
Also beware, you'll be charged for water even though it's self service!

Yo sushi is a loud and gimmick filled environment with staff who have little manners or service skills. On entering the restaurant I was greeted with a chef shouting to me to over the restaurant to take a seat and later appalled to see a server eating whilst serving tables (without washing hands).

The sushi here is nothing to rave about, it could even ruin you're idea of sushi if it was your first experience. There is little fish meat in the rolls and the plates are quite expensive.

If you like sushi or want to try it for the first time visit Yen Sushi instead of Yo Sushi.

It's a chain restaurant, so you can't expect it to be especially magical or personal. Having said this, it is my favourite chain restaurant. Let's face it, a lot of people will judge it critically because they don't like the idea of "paying good money for cold fish" (a friend of mine said this). If, on the other hand, you like the fun atmosphere and a selection of dishes which would have been unimaginable in the UK ten years ago then it's a top place to go. On this occasion we went for the Sumo Sunday deal - pay a hefty price but eat as much as you like - whatever you want from the conveyor-belt (rather limited choice) plus a single more interesting dish which you can order (prawn teriyaki curry which was expectedly yummy as always) and as much green tea and miso soup as you can pour down your throat before exploding. We went away as satisfied customers.

They have all the gimmicks and flashy lights etc but whats the point if the food isn't delicious.
The salmon mini rolls had such little salmon in I could barely see it, and tasted like something I could have bought from a packet in a supermarket.
The quality and freshness of the food was low.
The foods were on more expensive coloured plates than other (and much better) sushi restaurants in Bath.
If you want to pay more for less taste go to Yo.
If you want great taste and better value go to Yen.
