Stayed here for one night in November and I only regret that it was not longer. From the moment I arrived to the point of my departure the service was outstanding without being in any way fussy or obtrusive. Sue is a particular delight and she makes looking after her guests seem effortless. She is highly atuned to the needs of individual guests

Tasburgh House is a beautifully kept property with a lovely tranquil air. It has incredible gardens that lead down to the canal at the bottom and along which you can walk into town.(A walk of not more than 20 minutes). The room I stayed in was warm and very comfortable with a very tidy ensuite.
Breakfast was beautifully done with a nice buffet selection as well as a generous choice of cooked breakfasts. It is served in a wonderful conservatory which in summer must just be gorgeous.

Whether you are on business or visiting Bath for pleasure I doubt you would ever find anywhere to beat this little gem.

Every detail considered - drinks in the lounge, phoned the restaurant back to let them know we'd be late without asking, ordered us a taxi. Just lovely. Toni is a quality hostess, and I will be staying again.

My husband booked this for a surprise birthday weekend and he certainly got brownie points for it. I couldn't fault it, from the warm welcome, the great roomwith the most comfortable bed, the lovely views and the great cooked breakfasts. Customer service is spot on and we will definitely return, maybe for his birthday in January!

Hard to find fault with this hotel . The owner is so on her game that she must dream customer service at night . If you want that English experience that you read about but have a hard time finding try this place . Easy to walk to the centre of Bath and rooms on the rear have a picture book view . I would go back in a heart beat .
However if only Susan could do something about the weather

I just stayed for a week-end as this hotel was recommended by Trip Advisor and I must say that it lived up to my expectations. The hostess was very nice and attentive and very patient with our time requirements. The setting is amazing and I wish I could come in the summer to enjoy the terrace in the summer.
