Stayed here for 2 nights on 18th Feb. We were very pleased with the hotel and ticked every box. Location is good, only a short bus/car journey into the town centre. We walked into town along the Avon canal which was a great experience. The room was very clean and met our expectations, slept well in a very comfortable bed and the bath was great!!. Breakfast and cream tea were perfect and the staff during our stay were very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel as an excellent value base to explore beautiful Bath. We will return to Bailbrook Lodge!!

Stayed for the weekend on the 2night stay, champagne afternoon tea, breakfast and 2hours at Thermae Spa in bath deal and would recommend.

For the star rating, there are facilities in the rooms and lodge that are a luxury to the star rating.

The slipper bath is fabulous, champagne breakfast, lots of variety for breakfast, lovely style building and nice staff.

Great location with the bus into Bath running frequently right outside the lodge.

Wasn't good value for money.
Breakfast was good.
Wouldn't go again.
Suggeston: Slippers baths are no good for anyone over 45 .High sides make them very difficult to get in and they are even worse when you come to get out.

Dear Guest,

thank you for staying with us at Bailbrook Lodge.
I can assure you that our prices are one of, if not the best value, in Bath. We are the only B & B / Hotel in Bath that has 5 four poster rooms and our rates for these rooms are considerably lower than our competitors.
Our bathrooms are either a Wet-Room, Standard Bath with shower, Shower cubicile or Slipper Bath. We try to accomadate all preferences.
I'm sorry that you did not enjoy the slipper bath. I understand that it is very much a personal preference, hence the reason that we offer a range of bathrooms.
I am delighted that you enjoyed our champagne breakfast and I do hope that you decide to stay with us again.
Regards,
Justine Lewis, Manager, Bailbrook Lodge

Me and my partner stayed here for his birthday this week. The hotel staff were so friendly and smiley. Our room (number 25) was incredible, very spacious with a huge 4 poster bed, made it hard to get up in the mornings because it was so comfy. Amazing shower and wet room. We had a beautiful view outside of our window onto the garden. A very quiet and peaceful place. Very easy to get into the city centre via the number 13 bus, also only cost about £7 to get from the centre back to the hotel in a taxi. Such a lovely place to stay. Thankyou to everyone there for making it a lovely couple of days.

Stayed here for one night on a Travelzoo offer. Upgraded to a 4 poster room which was clean and large. Excellent complementary tray with fruit, biscuits, fresh ground coffee and assorted teas. The room was well furnished with a walk in wet room, no bath. Had the champagne breakfast which was cooked to order with a small continental buffet included. Bath town centre is about 30-45min walk along the A4. Everything was clean and staff friendly. Great place to stay for a visit to Bath.

Room Tip: worth upgrading to a four poster room, which is on the first floor ( no lifts) and has nice garden v...
