Upon arrival we were upgraded to the four post suite, service was excellent couldn't fault, very close to the town but still very quiet, very good choice for breakfast, brilliant value will definitely be staying again, thanks very much

We stayed here for our 5th anniversary in July for one night, great welcome by Jessica. The room and hotel was full of period character which was charming. We enjoyed the breakfast cooked breakfast which was addition but delicious. The location was fabulous as we were literally 5min from the centre of Bath. Would certainly recommend and return.

Room Tip: I believe we stayed in the Somerset room which was on the basement floor which overlooked the rear c...

We stayed for two nights in July 2013, the staff are helpful and parking is easy to find outside the hotel, parking is charged at £12.00 per day and you use the hotels zone 1 permit
We had a roof room double which is at the very top of the townhouse, it was sweet and clean but is starting to look dated now like most of them hotel, it could do with a refresh and money spent on all the rooms and dining room, but look past this and it is a nice set up and is the perfect place to be based to walk into Bath. The county cricket ground is also behind the house. Plenty of shops, restaurants, chemist and mini market nearby.
Breakfast was really fantastic and well worth getting up for. The staff couldn't do enough for us, we were the only UK couple staying so it was interesting to see how popular the house is to the rest of the world!
I would only say it is a shame there is no garden to use even though the house has a garden as breakfast or coffee out there would have been fantastic, and don't stay here if you have mobility issues as steep stairs. We will stay again

Nice place to stay with a lovely helpful staff but not sure if the exorbidant amount we paid for the weekend was quite justified.
The decor in the rooms was quite dated and the ACs just wouldnt go beyond a point.
Its a good location to walk into town center . The breakfast is quite nice and they are definitely child friendly .
They gave us travel cots , milk , brekkie for toddlers , so yeah if you are going with kids , definitely recommended .

Thank you for your review and for the nice comments on location, staff and friendliness. Prices in Bath are high over a weekend and more so when booking larger, family rooms. You would have found that i'm sure when trying to find somewhere to book. We keep our prices in-line with city centre accommodation and much of the time, are considerably cheaper. It's also worth pointing out that small savings made in booking outside the centre are soon swallowed up in taxi charges getting you in and out.
