“Little Gem”

This a lovely museum/gallery which houses some gorgeous pieces and pictures and organizes some very interesting workshops. It has a good coffee shop/restaurant and an attractive little garden all within a few minutes walk of the centre of town. Well worth a visit.

“Pleasant and interesting”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Just a few minutes from Bath's "main drag" and well worth a visit. The collection includes some interesting and lovely art pieces and gives you an insight into a lost world. And it is free!

“A Great Free Museum”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Despite many years living in or near Bath, this was my first visit. It is a liitle treasure filled with an interesting mixture of collections. What was also nice is that they have special feature exibitions as well, so there is always something new. I will be back for sure.

“A morning of culture”
Reviewed June 21, 2013

Had not been to the museum since it's revamp and it is a delight. well laid out items in a beautiful elegant room settings. Particularly interested in the Stuart embroidery . The museum was a haven of peace and quiet so you could see and read everything at leisure. The coffee shop is also well worth a visit. Very handy site just at the bottom of the elegant Pultney street - so much more to Bath than just shops!.

“Away from the crowds.”

Lovely museum and after a few days of crowds and busy streets a relaxing stroll round the Holbourne was a very welcome change of pace.
