Owner description: Historic street in Bath that is lined with charming shops and restaurants.

This is a lively street with a good mix of larger stores such as Jolly's (House of Fraser) and Waterstones and smaller, independent boutiques. There is also the Highgrove Shop and a few restaurants. Be careful when walking at the top though as the Park and Ride buses tend to go onto the pavement when they come round the corner.

Found some gorgeous shops in Milsom Street. Jolly's is worth a visit, just to look at the interior and the building itself.

With good shops such as House of Fraser department store (Jolly's), Waterstones,The Highgrove Shop, Lewin's, Milsom Place and The Gap, there is plenty to keep this street buzzing. Banks, eating places such as Cafe Rouge and LochFyne's Fish restaurant are also here.

A great place for shopping and history. I didn't shop, just looked but would be great for someone who wanted to make a dent in their bank account!

For a free walk by, just start at the beginning and enjoy the rich history, the amazing architecture, and England of the past brought to life. There are also many people and artists who litter the street with their culture and vibrance. On some of the buildings, you will find what the building used to be and sometime even a date!
