Beautiful old building...lovely to photograph, especially with a mallard duck soaking up the steam. Amazing to think it has been there so long!

Wow for the building. The staff is really nice, the people are all really chill.
They have a kids map that's support of like a puzzle or scavenger hunt. Our 5 year old daughter liked it and skew was far more engaged in the tour. The audio tour was great, lots of relevant information and it's very well curated and orchestrated. You learn alot about the culture of the people during the times of the baths.

While we were there some at students were making rubbings (charcoal on paper) of the old stones. I had never really seen this before and I thought it was really cool.

The baths are amazing, the building is really neat. I wish you could actually use the facilities.

Even if you aren't interested in history you will be impressed. I didn't bother with the ear phones this visit, cos I have now been at least 4 times with friends. I visit Bath at least 3 times a year from Manchester, and love it so much even got married there. I also recommend the ghost tour and Bizarre Bath if they still run. All excellent value. By the way I am sure Roman Baths has wheelchair/buggy access but to be honest didn't really notice.

We enjoyed our trip around the baths using the Bill Bryson tour on the headphones, which was informative without being dull. On a cold morning in early March we were amused to see chilled out ducks enjoying the warm vapours from the baths! Only a shame you aren't allowed to touch the warm water yourself. I mean, really, what would that do!

The museum is very well laid out. Headphones are available which are a must to learn about the baths.
