“Everything and more”

This tour was great. The audio guide provided a lot more information than the plaques and there was a lot to learn! It is more than just the big bath you see pictures of,, and the lay out is truly grand. I enjoyed many pieces of art where they painted around artifacts found to give you an idea of the complete picture. Lots of people. But not too much bumping into each other. Make sure to dip your hands in the water and try a glass at the end. Gift shop is overpriced.

“Great Audio Tour”
Reviewed July 6, 2014 via mobile

We thought this would be a tourist trap whilst visiting Bath, but the audio tour was excellent and the renovations of the baths were fun to see. Overall, a great self-guided tour.

“should have visited in the winter”
Reviewed July 6, 2014

Super crowded. As most of the very touristy "must see" places, the Roman Baths have their inflated hype. We were also to blame, should have visited the place in the winter, without the noisy groups and some mist from the warm pools, I guess it can be nicer.

No trip to Bath is complete without a tour of the Roman Baths, there is an audio tour to provide you with anecdotes to accompany your visit. The history of the site is amazing and makes the trip very worthwhile.

“A tad disappointed but definitely worth seeing.”
Reviewed July 6, 2014

Im not sure what I expected but I thought the Roman Baths would be bigger. Amazing history behind them but all over in about an hour. Get there early as crowds a killer. Have a sip of the water and see what you think. Personally I didn't like it but that's only my opinion. 1 or 2 nights at the most for a trip to a beautiful town. Don't bother with guides, do it on your own or with an audio guide.
