“Fascinating sight”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

The Roman Baths are a definite must see in Bath. The interpretation is excellent, and the crowds are well controlled. The wait at the height of tourist season was not bad at all, perhaps 20 minutes. We spent much more time here than anticipated as we found it all so interesting.

“Far better than most tourist traps”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Well worth a visit, even for those with not too much interest in history.
If you can join the guided tour, the guides are very informative, interested in their subject and take time to explain to visitors from all over the world.

“Beautiful place to have your wedding reception”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Beautifully atmospheric place to have your wedding reception - you are allowed around the Baths with cauldrons lit and stunning canapés. The balcony over the baths is perfect to seat everyone and the doors open on to a dancefloor and bar area. It felt truely special. I haven't been to the baths since I was a school kid on a trip so it was great to see it again and allowed a glass of champus to enjoy the hypercausts!

“Very interesting”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

We toured the baths. They are fascinating. However, we were too tire to actually enjoy a dip ourselves. I would recommend taking your dip in the bath prior to the tour or earlier in the day.
