A must when visiting Bath! The tour took us about two hours.
An audio tour is provided which is very informative and which is easily controlled individually so it is possible to listen to as much or as little as possible. personally, I found it very interesting and not in the least boring.

Lots of learn and enjoy seeing. Great place- but it is Bath- all is great! Spend time in the Abbey too!

Visit their website .... It is exactly like that . The authorities have spent money on making your experience work. The walk around the attraction are well thought out . It is amazing how so much has survived and in the centre of a busy city. Each visitor is supplied with their own easy to use electronic guide . Photography is allowed. This is a must visit, don't miss it. It will give you an understanding of what Bath was and is .

This is an extensive Roman bath site, which you can walk through with an excellent audio guide. There are models of the baths as they once looked, artefacts from the time, film recreations of the people at the baths, and of course the baths themselves. It is an amazing insight into Roman life in England, 2000 years ago. It is very well setup and easy to walk through.

I have seen definitely more impressive Roman baths, but so far this is the only one that I saw that features water, that gives you an idea of the past splendor. It's not big and grandiose like some others, but it is an excellent place to learn about the Roman culture and how the baths worked. It also offer a great scenery with the cathedral in the background. Unfortunately the statues are not original, but they help to give a great picture of how it was. The baths do not feature wonderful mosaics, the most impressive part of the baths is the centre pool, so do not be disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the museum offers more to see but if you are been to other Roman baths or musea ... then there is nothing new for you.
