Spent just over an hour at this small, but interesting and well presented, museum dedicated to the story of William and Caroline Herschel - Musicians turned Astronomers. A warm welcome and introduction to the four story terrace house by a member of staff is followed by a free to wonder tour around the property.
The AV production in the basement can be seen at any time during the visit, but I would recommend visitors to start with it, and work your way up to the first floor.
My only negative comment would be that some of the captions were a little small to read. Some of the labels bear QR codes if you have the ability to read them.
Audio tours are available to hire, and guide books and other related goods are available to purchase.
Rucksacks and large bags can be left at the entry desk, by request. Limited disabled access.
