“Super park and botanical gardens”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2012

We came upon this park because it afforded a short cut to the city from the B&B we were staying in. For families there is a great childrens playground which is clearly popular with the local residents.

For the enthusiast, there is a botanical garden at one end with a whole variety of plant species and picturesque as well.

Overall the park is a great place to walk and relax. It has well paved paths running through the trees and greens and one gets a faboulous view of The Crescent fromt the park.

We visited in autumn when the ground was carpeted with autumn leaves in glorious colours, but I imagine the park to be beautiful in every season.

It has the advantage of being really close to the centre of Bath, and just off The Crescent, so if you are visiting The Crescent, take the time to stroll round the park as well.

“Autumn Stroll”

Nice city park, extensive trees which were lovely as they changed colour, pity about the cars that had been broken into.

“The Park in Autumn.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2012

Because of the time of year the gardens were surpringly colourful. Though you have to pay to enter it's a good idea as it keeps out the undesireables and stops it being vandalised.
