Lovely peaceful garden to spend some time and people watch. The location is great and the flowers and plantings were just lovely. Another must see for anyone that likes parks

Had to pay to get in but deck chairs were free.It was great to relax and also watch the locals and visitors relaxing on a sunny afternoon.

Probably I'm a little spoiled, having lived for some time next to the legendary Greenwich Park in London, but put next to that Royal Victoria Park is not all that great. There is a nice playground for kids and some good landscaping, but not a lot else. If I could give 3.5 I would, but 3 feels very unfair so I'll go for a 4. I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from visiting - it's a change from the architecture side of things.

A wonderful stop off to catch your breath. The gardens are beautifully kept and have embraced the Olympics with bronze and plant sculptures. We visited on a Sunday are were entertained by a fabulous band in the band stand.
