fantastic hotel spa lovely, staff brilliant, but sadly there prices of there drinks at the bars are extortionate, i took my mother away for a 3 day break, our first night we had 2 x barcardi and cokes the price £26.20. So as you can imagine we went out and bought our own to take in and we went out to eat and drink, If it was sensible prices for a the hotel we would have stayed to eat and drink for the whole break

We spent a weekend at this hotel to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and it was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they could'nt do enough for us. We had free champagne, and extra treats of chocolates which I can't eat so they brought me a lovely bowl of fresh fruit instead. It was expensive but worth every penny and a special weekend that we will always remember , I definitely recommend going there for a celebration, and have the butler service if you possibly can, your worth it :-). They come with the Imperial suites. which are situated in a separate block just across the gardens. The food was wonderful too, In fact I can't think of anything bad to say about this hotel. We did'nt use the spa as we forgot our bathers, but it looked absolutely amazing. Also it's very near to the centre of Bath, about a ten minute walk, yet you feel as if you are out in the country with the beautiful grounds and gardens. All in all a great place to spend that special occasion.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday, as a treat. It was more than a treat but heaven!! From the moment we stepped into the hotel until to moment we left, we felt like royalty. The hospitality of the hotel staff was amazing, very attentive, polite, and helpful. My boyfriend and I are 19 & 20, unfortunately at some hotels we are mistreated as we are young but at the bath spa hotel we were treated just as others.

The Hotel has lots of relaxing spa facilities, more than we expected. You could easily spend a day in the spa, relaxing. There are lounge chairs that people liked to read, or sleep, and chat on. It's completely relaxing. (nor overly busy)

It's a short 10 minute walk into Bath, very conveniently located. A MUST to do is to book a meal in Sotto Sotto - an italian restaurant (rated number 1/288 places to eat on trip advisor) that is very fairly priced.

Overall me and my boyfriend will be definitely returning to the spa hotel. Hopefully two nights oppose too one. HEAVEN!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, the service was impeccable. The porter service was quick and efficient, as was room service. The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the town centre, although I'd recommend getting a taxi back from town late at night as it is a long uphill walk back to the hotel!

Whilst we waited for our taxi to arrive to take us into town, we were escorted to the hotel bar which was very warm and comfortable (though very expensive!), and the porter came again to get us once the taxi had arrived.

The spa is excellent, and this was one of the main reasons we stayed at this hotel. There is an indoor pool, an outside steam pool as well as several saunas, steam rooms, ice rooms etc.

I highly recommend this elegant, welcoming hotel.

Room Tip: We chose to pay a little extra to have a garden view, which was definitely worth it.

I spent a long time researching the best place to stay in bath that was close to the city and also I has a pool/ spa, we were not disappointed. We had a room on the top floor overlooking the gardens and city, the view was great, the room nothing special but clean and comfy bed. We were unsure where to eat on the first night and the guy on the concierge desk could not have been more helpful in suggesting places. It was very easy and quick walk into town ( 10 mins) harder on the way back up the hill! The pool/ spa is great, particularly the outdoor pool which was very warm. All the staff were very polite and helpful saying hello and smiling as they walked past anywhere in the hotel and only too happy to help. The breakfast was great, with vegetarian option and we had it delivered to our room the first morning ( for £3) There was one particularly great guy in the bar/ sitting area but i'm not very good at remembering names.. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay; it ticked all the boxes for us and was very relaxing.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the garden/ city are nice.

Oh Wow. What a wonderful relaxing experience after a hectic wedding day. From the concierge to the spa staff, everyone was amazing and so helpful. We got a free room upgrade, chocolates and a card and every night our bed was turned down and slippers put by our bed. The spa was incredible and the food out of this world. So much attention to detail, we didn't want to leave.

I stayed here with my family for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The room was well presented, clean and spacious. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and polite, especially upon entering the hotel. We ate in the restaurant on the first evening and found the food delicious. Breakfast was also very nice with a wide variety of options. The best part of this hotel is definitely the spa. The main pool was a nice size and clean but the hotel also boasts a gorgeous outside pool heated at around 38 degrees. It had a selection of spa treatment rooms which were nicely sized. Overall I found the trip very relaxing and I would recommend it.
