Stayed here in July for our wedding anniversary. We absolutely loved it! The staff were extremely helfpul, the hotel was beautifully and sympathetically decorated in keeping with its era - the location was ideal, very handy for the centre of Bath. Breakfast was lovely. If felt a very special place and can highly recommend it. Can't wait to return!
P.S. The bed was huge and the comfiest bed I've ever slept in!!

This was a great little hotel. Right in the centre of Bath - which worked well as we have a baby. We were able to go into town, look around and then come back for her naps.
Skip the breakfast - it's basic - enjoy one of the many cute little cafes instead.
They provide much sought after parking (on the street with a permit) for a very reasonable price.
The hosts are amazing, the room clean and the location fab.

My girlfriend and I had high expectations of this place and we were no let down.it's a little gem although a bit hard to find so do yer homwork.Anyways parked up in the pouring rain and noticed a figure scurrying out from the hotel under the cover of an umbrella to our car.Mike gave us a permit and showed my fiancee inside while i parked close by.We were all soaking despite best efforts of Mike (great bloke- very "Mr. Hospitality " but there ain't one in every Hotel) .Great room nice bar did,nt do the restaurant eat at Hudsuns Steak House.Bath is a great City although a bit pricey !The stay was the staff at Dukes as they were all friendly and very welcoming. We will be back at Xmas - well done Dukes
and Mr.H !!

We just returned from a trip to Bath, Ireland, Scotland and London. The Dukes Hotel was wonderful. The location is great. We walked everywhere. We were greeted warmly by Mike and he took care of us and our luggage until our room was ready. We had a great breakfast there each morning. We asked for a driver recommendation to pick us up at Heathrow. We were picked up by Marcus. He was so great we hired him to drive us to Stonehenge and some local villages the following day. If you can, I would highly recommend it. It was such a great way to start a two week busy busy trip. We were relaxed and completely enjoyed ourselves. We left London to the end of our trip and were really glad we started in Bath at the Dukes.

Room Tip: rooms in the front were a little noisier than the back side, but I would still take it. They are large and pretty.

We were taken out for lunch by my grandmother and had the most wonderful meal in the restaurant in the basement of the hotel. The menu was small but fabulous and each of the courses were beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. I'd really recommend a visit here to eat even if you are not staying in the hotel (which we weren't). It's also on one of the most beautiful streets in Europe - so you can walk off your lunch or supper afterwards. The sticky toffee pudding and early gray icecream were particularly delicious!
