“So Charming!”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

Charming hotel with a well-designed comfortable room. Whimsical, modern touches along side traditional architecture. Relaxing well-stocked bar and good breakfast in a relaxing dinning room. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom had a wonderful soaking tub. It was unfortunate that we could stay one night as we would have liked to have extended our stay. The Queensberry was within walking distance to everything the wonderful town of Bath has to offer.

Lovely lovely hotel.
Great spot, easy walking distance of shops, resturants and sights.
As other reviews say; extremely friendly and helpful staff. Can't fault them.
Easy valet parking.
Lovely charming room & bathroom complete with piping hot shower!
Restaurant looked lovely - although we opted to go to a local place which was perfect.
However, given the breakfast I had, would certainly consider going to Restaurant next time.
Because there will be a next time!

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Can't fault them.

Wonderful hotel with extremely helpful, friendly staff. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Location ideal ,easy walk to everything but on a quiet side street. Staff gave us excellent restaurant recommendations , found parking for our car (much appreciated at the end of a long day) and when we asked to store our bags the next day told us to just leave them in the room and they would bring them down to the office for safe keeping . We look forward to staying there again.

Loved this hotel, had first class service from the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, I cant say enough about the staff, nothing was too much trouble, and all with a smile. The hotel is minutes walk from the main attractions, shops and restaurants, so no need to stress about driving or taxi's. Would highly recommend the Queensberry. If I had one negative, it would be that breakfast wasn't included, if i'm paying £200 a night for a superior room, I really don't expect to have to pay over the odds for breakfast too. However there are many of lovely places in Bath that serve a delicious breakfast. But that really is the only thing, It really is a Gem.x

Lovely hotel within 5 mins walking distance of the city centre. Staff are very helpful and acommodating. On booking I'd specified which room I wanted, but upon arrival we were given a different room - also nice but not what I'd expected. When I pointed this out, the staff were very apologetic about the misunderstanding and offered to upgrade us to either of 2 beautiful junior suites of our choice. We ate at the Olive Tree restaurant which has a new chef trained under amongst others, Heston Blumenthal. The food was amazing, and I think good value for the quality at around £40 each. Wine was also reasonable for the quality of restaurant starting at £20 per bottle. The only very minor downside is that they could do with turning up the music a little so that you don't hear so much detail of the conversations of other diners. Otherwise we loved our trip to the Queensberry and will definitely stay here again. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Stayed at the Queensberry hotel for a couple days break with my wife. The room we were given was clean and spacious. The shower was very strong, the service was excellent and there was not much that we could complain about. Location is very central too. I would recommend this hotel.

This is listed as a 3 star hotel but the service is nothing short of 5 star. Extremely comfortable and well appointed rooms which are maintained and cleaned to a very high standard complement the friendly, helpful and welcoming staff headed up by the charming and omnipresent owner.

We did not eat in the restaurant this time but will be sure to next time around. Breakfast was excellent and quickly and efficiently served. Free (well almost) valet parking is a real bonus in a car hostile city like Bath. Cannot recommend highly enough.
