Gives a good Below-stairs experience as well as the light and airy Georgian facades. Guides (both human and printed) are plentifully provided, and the whole has been very tastefully restored. ( e.g. look for the moden fire alarms hidden away inside the period candlestick boxes!)

“Enjoyable visit”
Reviewed April 22, 2014

Georgian house built between 1767-1774, rooms are set out for this period and are lavishly decorated and furnished. Cost £8.50 to go in and National Trust/English Heritage/Historical Houses membership cards DO NOT get you in any cheaper. You cannot take photographs inside but I purchased a couple of postcards. We had a very enjoyable visit and would recommend.

“Beautiful townhome”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

Historically accurate townhome with very knowledgeable guides in every room. The guides had great little tidbits about life at the time. Beautifully renovated with the most beautiful and different crown molding in every room.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

Informative guides who are only too willing to answer questions, very informative and clever based on life of a man who used to live there.

“We loved it! A must-do when you're in Bath”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

A Georgian house, reunited with servants' part (only less than a year), at the right wing of the Royal Crescent. In every room there is a lady explaining in detail the interior of each room, some details for kids to explore..
You cannot take pictures but from the windows. Splendid view I can guarantee...
