Description: The Pig is The Pig is The Pig, it's a one off. Everyone in Bath old enough to drink knows the Pig and they have probably passed many happy summer evenings drinking with friends in our beer garden.

“great for beer and a burger”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

Got a couple of great ciders on draught, and a great place for chilling with a pint and a water buffalo burger. Different sorts of burgers available, as well as baguettes, salads and pasta. A bit worn around a round the edges but I really liked it, it's unpretentious and good fun.

“Good food”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

We went here late one Saturday for a bit to eat. Our group had a mixture of food from a simple bowl of chips, jacket potato, fish finger sandwich, veggie chilli and a chocolate brownie. I personally just had the brownie and it was yummy and reasonably priced. Indeed all the other food looked good and little was left. The place looked a bit grungey and more of an evening drinking venue but the food was surprisingly tasty and had good sized portions.

“Warm and inviting with great food”
Reviewed January 20, 2013 via mobile

The Pig & Fiddle had been recommended to us, and it did not disappoint. We stopped in on New Year's day, and it was warm and comfortable. They even had a fire in the fireplace. They offered exotic meats - kangaroo was the special for the day. They also had venison, boar, beef, chicken, and turkey on their menu. Not feeling too adventurous, I had an ordinary burger, and it was great. My husband had lasagna which was also quite good. The atmosphere was also inviting. I would definitely go back to Pig & Fiddle if I am ever in Bath again.

“Nice break”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

This pub is a five minute walk from the abbey. As tourists, it's nice to feel welcome and we certainly were. The food was quite good and the menu was varied. A real nice comfortable place for a leisurely lunch.

“Good beer, decent food”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

Prior to one of Bath's interesting ghost walks, we sampled the fare...water-buffalo burger for me and cottage pie formy colleague at reasonable prices. Almost opposite the Bath Hilton worth noting if you are staying there.
