“Wonderful food”
Reviewed December 13, 2012 via mobile

The owner and his family are charming hosts and we enjoyed an outstanding dinner here. We also stayed overnight and the room was very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Breakfast the next day was a delight with fresh quality ingredients. Will definitely be back!

“Continues to please”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

Having had dinner here several times over the past few years, it seemed the appropriate place to celebrate a 'big' birthday for wife. Twelve of us arrived and twelve departed, all delighted with the imaginative well cooked dishes and the quiet but friendly service. I was responsible for paying the bill and I was more pleased than most. An excellent place.

“Lovely food”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

When in Bath we try to have lunch here and always worth the trip. We have had only lunches but each time the menu has been different and the food wonderful, the salt and pepper squid excellent. The garden is lovely in summer , the only problem is its a bit off the beaten track but worth finding.

“holiday visit”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

We - a party of 6 retired friends- enjoyed a lunch here on the terrace in September. We were made very welcome and had a good meal with attentive service. Portions were adequate for us, but may not satisfy a healthier appetite!
