A small bistro serving Petit Plats (a bit like Tapas but French). Great for a group wanting to try lots of different French classics. Puddings were good too and staff attentive. Extensive wine list.

A friend and I happened to be walking past this small restaurant during a recent day out in Bath and stopped there for lunch. What a lovely surprise! The ambiance is typically French, we received a very warmly welcome and the food was delicious. We liked the idea of sampling several different dishes (each with a different glass of wine if you wish) and we so enjoyed all the six dished we had that we've vowed to go back and try the rest of the dishes on the menu. I mustn't forget to mention that the service was superb as well.

We were visiting Bath for the day and wanted a lunch somewhere that was not a chain! This little restaurant was a real find. Lovely French inspired food. A delicious glass of wine. Great service. All considerably cheaper than chain restaurants.

We like tapas and the opportunity to try something similar with French food was an opportunity not to be missed. Do not be put off by the exterior of the restaurant as inside is very comfortable and French! We tried a mix of 5 "main" courses and could of maybe had a couple more, but we then made up for it by having cheese and desserts. The creme brûlée was as others mentioned very good (even better than when I had it in one of Michel Roux Jnrs restaurant earlier in the year) and nearly as good as my wife's (have to keep the peace) but she is looking at changing her recipe. She also said her prune tart was not bad. Sensible wine list and reasonably proved as well

An absolutely fantastic way to enjoy the best of French Cuisine. We ordered six small plates between two of us and all six were outstanding. Authentic food from a talented chef. A fantastic evening in a relaxed and friendly little restaurant at a reasonable price. The wine list is extensive and Michael knows every bottle. Don't miss it!
