Not the first time my wife and I have visited La Barrique, but previously only at lunchtimes. This time was pre-theatre, and what a great choice. It started the evening off on an excellent footing, and their format of 'Petit Plats' was perfect for the occasion. The set pre-theatre menu had loads of choice (two petit plats and one side) but for someone out for a bigger meal there was even more to choose from à la carte. We had the wine that was on special, an excellent côtes de gascon, available glass, bottle or pichet. However, unlike most restaurants, there is also a great choice of super french wines by the glass. A great start to a memorable evening at the theatre, helped by the waitress who managed a smile practically every time she passed our table. Well done all.

This is a French Restaurant beside the Theatre Royal. It serves small plate so you can have 2 mains and 1 side for 12.95 GBP. Food really great quality and very fresh. Wine very expensive, very small glass 6.00 GBP

Visiting my brother in Bath and we decided on a non-chain to try. This was a brilliant choice! Staff were friendly, service was good, food was even better. The lunch menu is great value for money as well! Definitely recommended.
