This was my second visit to this restaurant (sadly I can only visit Bath occasionally). It was as charming as my first visit. The owner and his wife are delightful and the service is very personal. I've seen some negative reviews on Tripadvisor. Look, the cooking isn't 3 Michelin stars, but it doesn't pretend to be. It's a small, independent restaurant serving a good choice of well-priced food with a brief but good wine list. Good vegetarian choice too. My only real criticism? I could live without the "ping" of the dumb waiter when the food arrives upstairs. And the decor could be softened a bit. But I like it. I'd definitely visit again.
