Wanted to try Jamie's and was pleased I did but probably won't be back. Good ambience, food good but not outstanding, service average to slow - glass of chilled white house wine (£7.05 for a 250ml glass!!) was warm by the time our main course arrived. Waited 15 minutes for table - OK - but still hadn't managed to get a drink from the bar by the time our table was ready (this was 2pm, not peak time). Meat plank starter was fine but not much of it (4 wafer thin slices of meat and 3 olives plus some bits), and no bread included (an extra at £3.85). Plenty of Italian restaurants put bread/olive oil/vinegar etc. on the table straight away at no extra charge, come on Jamie's - it's not that hard! Conclusion: good experience, average food, poor value, slow.
