Description: JAMIE'S ITALIAN BATH A partnership between Jamie Oliver and his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, Jamie's Italian has won thousands of fans for its delicious and affordable food since launching their first restaurant in Oxford in May 2008. The Jamie's Italian menu is based on dishes you'd find people eating all over Italy, made with care but delivered without fuss. The family-friendly restaurants are all about serving up rustic, Italian food made using the best possible ingredients, plus fresh pasta that's made on-site every day, and an award-winning children's menu, too. Set in a gorgeous Georgian conversion in Milsom Place, right in the heart of the town, Jamie's Italian Bath is a great spot for midweek lunches, weekend dinners and everything in between. It also has a chic rooftop terrace boasting some amazing views - the ideal spot for al fresco dining on a sunny day. If you're looking to host a private event or a meeting you can also exclusively hire the Georgian room for up to 28 people, or the bright and spacious upstairs area accommodates up to 70 guests.

“Good Food, Service and Ambience”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

This is our third or fourth visit as we live 25 miles from Bath. It was New Years Eve and I only tried booking 48 hours before so choice was limited to 17.15, but that suited us and our 24 year old daughter who was visiting. An afternoon post Christmas shopping, dinner and home for the fireworks from London.
We had a short wait when we arrived at a busy restaurant, but once we were seated there was no pressure to rush our food. Our waiter was courteous and informative about the specials and drinks and our food was hot and very tasty, especially the Mackerel with linguine. Service throughout was efficient and with a smile.
We really enjoy eating here, we have eaten outside in warmer weather and there is a rustic Italian feel to the interior which heightens the ambiance of the place above that of 'just another restaurant' to being a little bit special and adds to the experience of the City as a whole..

“Not great”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

Visited Jamie's Italian in September with a group to celebrate a friends birthday. The venue looks good but it's down hill from the front door. We were directed to our table rather than seated. Waited 20 minutes for drinks, which arrived sporadically. Long wait for service. I felt like we were in the way rather than welcome guests. My burger was ok but the prawns in the pasta appeared to be lacking in quality & quantity. Sadly, I am unlikely to return.

“New Year's Eve dinner”

Busy fun atmosphere, lovely food except for my main which was very disappointing. BUT no problem, as I did not want another we were not charged and had free desserts and lots of positive attention - excellent!

“Very Good”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

We were the first in when it opened at 12 on Sunday 29th, there was 4 of us. Our waitress was Jess who was very professional & informative throughout & the service could not be faulted. I had a meat platter & for main a slow roasted Porchetta both were superb, my friends had various steaks & pasta, washed down with a varity of drinks. our bill came to just over £163 & we were all well satisfied & we left at 13.50 & by then the restaurant was full & quite a few we're waiting for a table.Downside, minor but I don't get the decor & we had a wonky table which Jess kindly fixed.
