Description: JAMIE'S ITALIAN BATH A partnership between Jamie Oliver and his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, Jamie's Italian has won thousands of fans for its delicious and affordable food since launching their first restaurant in Oxford in May 2008. The Jamie's Italian menu is based on dishes you'd find people eating all over Italy, made with care but delivered without fuss. The family-friendly restaurants are all about serving up rustic, Italian food made using the best possible ingredients, plus fresh pasta that's made on-site every day, and an award-winning children's menu, too. Set in a gorgeous Georgian conversion in Milsom Place, right in the heart of the town, Jamie's Italian Bath is a great spot for midweek lunches, weekend dinners and everything in between. It also has a chic rooftop terrace boasting some amazing views - the ideal spot for al fresco dining on a sunny day. If you're looking to host a private event or a meeting you can also exclusively hire the Georgian room for up to 28 people, or the bright and spacious upstairs area accommodates up to 70 guests.

Had a late lunch after a days shopping in Bath. The food is good and served quickly. Portions are nice and big and, although it is quite pricey, I would say that it is pretty good value for what you get.

The staff are all very friendly and I like the atmosphere.

First visited Jamie's Itallian in Bath in 2011, and visited again twice during our September 2013 stay. On our first visit (weekday lunchtime) there was no wait, we were seated straight away and they have an amazing lunch special (available I think 12pm-6pm) for 15 pounds per person - antipasto, salad, risotto, pasta, a roast chicken dish and polenta chips - it was all lovely and the servings were generous - we felt it was great value. Second visit was again an off peak time - around 3pm on a Saturday. There was a short wait this time (the bar area was very crowded and service was slow, one of our party was still waiting to order a drink by the time our table was called) but once we were seated the service was great, the food again enjoyed by all (party of four) and the place has a nice buzz to it. Will no doubt go again next time we are in Bath....

Went to Jamie's restaurant in Bath in Saturday 2 Nov and was really surprised how good it was! We booked a table for 2 at 8.45 and despite a hen party waiting to be seated when we arrived everyone was quickly shown to a table. Our waitress was extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. We had 3 courses with drinks and the bill was under £50. Fantasic value for money could not fault anything.

This was my second visit to a Jamie's - the first was in Cheltenham, which was a better experience. We both had the seafood spaghetti dish, which is served in the foil/bag it was cooked in and although it was very tasty, the number of mussels/clams etc you got was pitiful for £15...there was literally 1 prawn, 1 scallop and perhaps 4 mussels and a couple of clams...disappointing. The waiter was really good though, very friendly and attentive.

An amazing experience, waiter service excellent and the food top class. Gluten Free options available, not palmed off with second rate options. A must place to eat, put on your list!
